If xbox released games like they do controllers, Xbox brand would be in better shape. I already own 4 controllers so far. They have made so many good ones. My favorite is the white black and gold one that was exclusive to Gamestop. I wish more games used the rumble triggers as well as support for pc games.
No game has given us a good feeling of actually being in ancient Egypt than Origins. They did an excellent job at bringing location/era to life.
Ms shot themselves in the foot by focusing on kinect. Microsoft is capable to making nice hardware. They just need to know we don’t want an everything multimedia box. We want a games focused machine
The start of this gen was not very impressive. The systems didn’t make a big enough leap over 360 and Ps3. We should all hope next gen that we get the hardware that will amaze us even at the start. What new technologies will these systems have? It would be nice to see next gen possibly have a sku with SSD HDD for fast load times and performance. This gen did good with Ram but went cheap on the CPU.
They both use gimmicks to entice the consumer. But my response to that headline is that Xbox One X is a gimmick trying to get people in by making old games look better. However, the true draw should be new exclusives that show what the system can do. Every product has gimmicks. The issue is what gimmick is worth it to you. I bought a Pro to enhance my experience for the growing stellar library of games. The X seems cool, just needs some new games that warrant me spending 500.

Truth is though we know almost nothing for Nintendo for 2018. So who knows. Zelda isn’t even their highest selling franchise and neither is 3d Marios. The president of Nintendo is pushing for 20 million systems , so they must have games to push that number.

+ Be backwards compatible to PS4
+Dual Shock 5 have a better battery life than DS4

The thing with something being so called "overrated" is subjective and is different for everyone. Some of the most popular games may not be liked by me and some that aren't popular (underrated), I do like. I do believe though its more beneficial as a gamer to be more open minded and try various things and not just stick to what you know.
You also have people that love to hate on things just because they are popular.

Let me clarify what I am saying. These are areas where they can improve. which isn't that bad. They really did a great job. Those are just the things I noticed and I don't think I'm being over critical. I love my Switch. I know some people won't care about some of those things. The save backup is a must though.

+Great Marketing
+No 1st party Game Delays
+Simple Streamlined Switch UI with quick navigation
+Increasing 3rd Party support
but they did some things wrong which are
-Using an App to use Voice Chat
-Not able to back up saves
-Cost of Joy Con Pair
-Only 1 Multimedia App (Hulu)
sounds like you were burned by some fanatics. However not all fans of Nintendo will berate you. I consider myself a fan but I also love the other systems. Don't group us all together. I'm happy for the Switch's success as well as PS4's. To be fair I see the same things when anyone mentions anything but Sony on these forums, but that isn't everyone. Some of us can have an intelligent conversation. Some people just like to be trolls.
