Is it really winning if they slow down for you?
you can really tell how much they've learned between Uncharted 1 and LoU/Uncharted 4
Yeah dude dialogue is so important. it's hard to like a character if half of what they say is stock dialogue
That's a great point. Sometimes when you're flying around, it makes sense that a few of the stories would repeat to make sure you know some important piece of plot that's happening with them. Sometimes though, it's like yeah I get it you have to eat dog food or whatever. Especially in the predator sections, they could have either added more variety (more work) or just left some silence. Or a combination of the two!
Yo I like Toy Story but watch any of those movies and there is almost 0 silence. Always a score going in the background.
absolutely! Probably should have used that phrase at some point in the article haha
Thank you, Ian!
Nintendont is proof that puns are awesome no matter what
yo literally had to walk up the street to ask my friends who had already beaten it, and only after hours of frustration
I could have easily figured all that out myself if I only knew Spanish....
Where do you think I should start? I've got a PS4, can I play Persona 4? I'd prefer an rpg/sim experience and this game seems DOPE
This looks like the most original game I've seen in a while. Will get this asap haha
Sony's delays is a professional dichotomy. One the one hand, they want they're games to be good the first time (pro). On the other hand, they just can't get their estimates right on when it will be top notch (not as pro). I think it evens out in Sony's favor though, because we stop caring about the release date when we're finally playing the game and it rocks.
First of all, the fact that Bioshock 2 is not mentioned made me lol in a good way. Second of all, any game with interdimensional travel immediately ups the ante and Bioshock won the pot there. I can't tell if I've played that game too many times to buy the remastered, but this article might have convinced me to on the basis of Bioshock 1's goodness and my lack of playing that.
I love the gyroscope feature, and wish it was used more for my PS4. Also playing Windwaker HD in bed sounds cool af.
yo thank you for filling my diaper by reminding me about Xcom
Well written! Madden 99 was my jam but hey, I couldn't have a crib then.
excited for a realistic war experience! This should be especially interesting since WW1 guns and vehicles are so foreign to us as gamers.
This reminds me of the part in Heavy Rain where there's a jump scare that can leave you killing an innocent guy. You are so stressed about surviving to the end you don't even think twice about caping this crazy guy who comes at you with a crucifix. I ended up feeling immensly guilty but for entertainment's sake Quantic Dream let you slip out unnoticed without paperwork/media.
Yeah it goes to the idea of listening "alongside" the character. If Link is going to be out in the Wild turning it up, then we can experience that serenity too! I liken it to wearing headphones while on a nature walk, where you miss half of the goodness by missing out on the birds and such.
