Red Dead was one of the few reasons I hated selling my 360. No ports to PC or this gen -_-
I've always wondered the difference between writing for a movie and writing for a video game. Sounds like it's pretty purposefully organic and noice. Great snag on the interview!
Wow this guy will make the game 100 times better. The last protagonist shut it down for me, though was obviously an extremely cool concept.
I've always kinda wanted to know what the difference between writing a script for a movie/play and a video game is. Seems pretty purposfully organic which is pretty good. Good snag on the interview!
I will say that NMS taught me a lesson about drunk buying a game on release night. It wasn't what I expected, but I didn't think it was a bad game. I don't like paying 60 dollars for something I wasn't expecting. I honestly didn't blame Hello for that though, I just realized that I should wait a second to see if a game is what I was expecting (and probably buy it at a lower cost later anyway).
I love a fast game with good sound 8)
I've said this before and I'll say it again, I think BF1 might be the first 1st person shooter I buy since Modern Warfare 3. I'm not hyped enough to buy it outright, but once the (positive) reviews are out, I'll give it a shot, at least in RedBox. I think this might come from what you're writing about here: I've never experienced WWI. I've really only learned about it in history classes and checked in on the book "All Quiet on the Western Front" by Erich ...
It seems like they're about to define the survival horror for VR too, and set a base for everyone else to do VR horror right.
I'm hoping that more games engage this "mundane" feel. Gone Home was excellent in part because of this.
NBA Street was THE sports game I enjoyed. Would play that right now if I had it after watching this gameplay.
I like the idea that Destiny was a major experiment for the franchise. It gives the impression that they listened to their audience and will make the game excellent this second time around!
I agree that esports needs to expand a little bit. I have no interest in Counter-Strike or League. I would be down to watch some competitive Overwatch, but I could get tired of that easily too!
I almost never buy 1st person shooter games (with the exception of Overwatch). WW1 is so awesome though and so unexplored in video games that I'll have to AT LEAST Redbox it for the story. We shall see. I think I would prefer this kind of game to the twitch shooting in COD.
It's funny how "fun" can be underrated in some genres. I never underestimate that element
always wondered the difference between cartridge and cd
American Wasteland was like half of my middle school, but when I tried Skate in high school it def blew my mind. I don't think I could ever go back to an arcade style game like Tony Hawk after playing this great sim. If I would every buy a skating game in the future, it would be an old skate game or hopefully a new skate game.
I feel like the weakest DLCs are the one's that don't expand on the main game, but resolve it. Witcher and Fallout are good examples of great DLC because their main game's endings are just nice and tie everything together. An example of this NOT happening that we can agree on is The Evil Within. Great game, real kick in the balls when we realized we sort of had to get the DLC to know what was up (aka like 30ish more dollars or something). A weird middle ground comes in with Biosho...
I really wanted to like this game straight from the jump, even though it was pretty different than the original. I think with DLC like this, I could really get on board, especially if I see a sale with a bundle situation.
Got my N64 and PS2 sitting next to my PS4 as we squeak. Also, Virtual Console is one thing that the Wii U has going for it haha.
on the same line as there not being enough time to get into the world's they replicate, movies also can't get deep into the characters. I'm thinking of the Resident Evil games here
