Bowser's inside story totally turned Bowser into a 3 dimensional character. Good stuff!

I loved the first game, this seems like an upgrade of that. Good looks!

Hm. Not sure if this is the vision I had for this, though the co op will redeem it probably. Not enough good co op games to play atm.

Good notes near the end. The game is getting a ton of attention but if it has 3 modes that all consist of punch-twisting, then it's not going to get a sequel that will build on that

I love how these kinds of games are releasing for PS4 now; don't just need to break out my Steam laptop

Great points on the time of release. Like RE7 made those cold, meaningless months of Jan and Feb into something good. Also the holiday season is too cramped, I basically missed the Dishonored 2 release haha

Good points here. RE7's final boss is an easy, shoot it in the face 1,000 times ending that went somewhat against the spooky survival narrative (still loved it though). I had the same reaction to Arkham. Fable 2 had such a weird final boss fight, resolved completely with combat, but I just had to shoot the guy in the face once and he fell off a cliff and I won.

As a man, I would love to adjust my own breast size. A little smaller and less droopy would be nice. Less hair, too.

wow I might buy this game right at launch. love FTL and pirates and may just be redownloading blackflag after reading this

Whatever anyone things about this game, you cannot deny that RE has found its mojo again. What a great game. Even the bits that you mentioned were the weak points are a FAR improvement on anything Capcom has done in a while with this series. It's almost like we can expect "bad" things from Capcom with RE games but we love them anyway (plot gaps and mad awk dialogue to say the least). This game destroyed the others on a "professional" level, AND brought it back to the s...

The Switch (and any new system) needs a cluster of good games at launch AND games to keep the buzz going 8). Good point on the 3rd party draw and launch windows

Any game that taps into our empathy is a good game. Also, getting local artists on board is an awesome idea and will bring in some authentic touches.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? He may be either insecure about the content and wanting to sell more or a little preoccupied and wanting to put that in the game for other objectifiers. Perhaps it is both, but I think him not just saying "yeah, we wanted to sell more copies" says something about the attitude of the industry and those who play games. The real question though; was anyone swayed one way or another to buy this game because of seeing Quiet? perhaps even subconsc...

Very interesting, and I think creative, approach. I seriously loved Halo Wars 1 any haters can go ahead and hate, I'll swarm with Pelicans.

Don't really like the movies, love any super hero game that is done well. Would not love blockbuster games based on movies that are rushed out =]

Earmarking this game. Such good inspiration and direction, and I am very glad to see them hold out for a console release. I also agree- Resident Evil is awesome and defined 3rd person horror, but Dead Space is just objectively better. Would buy a remake of any and all of those game in a heartbeat.

Overwatch is non-stop with these awesome events. Like you said, hard to get burnt out when they keep it going like this

I feel like every big question with Switch comes down to the library, weak for a launch but gaining more traction than I saw with Wii and Wii U. As far as the subscription goes, how much bang am I getting for my buck with game invites if there are no games to invite people to? If there are hardly any good games, will I be excited for next month's free download? If the library expands well, then yeah, everything in the article is spot on and we should be excited for Nintendo to catch up. I...

It's strange how something so awesome, RE4, somehow led to RE6. Everyone should go play 5; it's fun and it still somehow feels like Resident Evil; maybe because of the fight for survival and the characters/writing. RE6's story def felt like Resident Evil on a "global" scale (and bigger, more crazy writing than ever) but even Leon's "horror" story and the "intense" Nemesis didn't feel super Resident Evil. Even through it all, glad it led to RE7...
