If they're looking for publicity, they've got it: tho I won't be buying this game
Even when fast travel is available or off roading is viable, sometimes it's really nice to just trot along the road until you get to where you're going (Witcher 3). I experienced this especially in the end, when I decided to sentimentally roleplay my way to the final destination. Turns out skipping the fast travel led to some cool popup quests!
Liking the range on the maps. Never understood why in fighting games it can feel so confined!
The art is like Skyward upgraded with a dash of Windwaker. I agree that it's excellent and that I may pay 350 for Breath of the Wild and a Gamecube Emulator =]
def will be apart of it =] though each game progresses in Zelda's independence and coolness.
Yeah one way of thinking about what Breath of the Wild story may be about is looking at the chronology and thinking "what's missing?" Skyward answered "how it all begins," perhaps this will detail some things like how Zelda and her family gets Hyrule so bumpin
It's no surprise that the VERY LAST thing in the presentation was that Breath will release with the Switch. That's what they want us to remember so our LOZ vibes will instigate a preorder
my analytical skills are what keep me from watching movie trailers to movies I know I'll go watch 8) I do wonder if I stretched myself too far for this one, but we'll let the community help brainstorm as well!
I think the induction of voice acting is a major indicator to this idea already! =D
yess, the newness they're injecting into this could totally depart from an incarnation chronology. That "100 years" line could be a self contained reference that we are to associate with another game to get hyped. good thought! (I will hold this thought in my heart as a way of thinking that I did not spoil the game for myself at all)
I agree with P3P below, literally all I connected this IP to was the picture. That character was burned into my memory because it was one of the several games I bought for Wii near the release that were kick-ass. Hope there's less lawnmowing in this one though
Damnit man, if we hold every game up next to Witcher 3, they all suck. But hey, I'm not trying to do MMO style quests in my AAA IP, so thanks for the range here
Damn, just now learning that Gamecube games will be available on Virtual Console. Literally what might have just pushed me over the edge
I think that they way Switch is getting covered is far superior to Wii U's opening. I felt like no one cared about the U but everyone is hype for the Switch. Aka whoever is on the advertisement committee needs a pay raise haha
Got saddened by the low batter life, but then I thought about the accessories that could perhaps prolong it. This also reminds of the PLETHORA of accessories I had for every form of Gameboy Advance I had, which made the system more badass. Another good question- will these things get 3rd parties interested as well?
Pixels, blood, strategy- these are all things that please me and many others. Saddened by the short campaign time but then I remember that's all part of the reason I love FTL, which has a similar vibe in a strange way
The Frist Center is dope af and also really cool for allowing pictures for this exhibit. The next one is based in the spirituality behind Samurai I think, or something like that
it kinda depends on if I get into the Beta for me. I don't know if I would love this game THAT much to get it at launch unless I could hold a controller and get pumped. But I like all the ingredients so far, excited to get in on the final proda
ay we shall see when it's out, all I know is Samurai, Vikings and Knights are cool af standing alone, might be kickass all together. Also Ubi Montreal has a good rep so I'm not super worried based off that
Switch is a cooler concept than Wii or Wii U; I think they've got their "we're not doing anything like the other consoles" juices finally flowing. Will it be different? Yes. Will it be better? Perhaps it will be good and it's own thing, and will be hard to say if it's "better."
