Problem with people like you is that you always think that current gen has some secret, hidden source of extra power that puny developers have yet to discover.

I finished it twice on PS3 and I'd buy it again on PC too (hopefully, like you said, they will fix Blightown framerate and add mod support). Souls series are among my favorite RPGs of all time.

Actually, they've announced nothing. If you think that:

Indicates that their next title is King's Field you are mistaken. It probably indicates that they could take elements from King's Field and implement it into Souls game.
Their next game is surely Dark Souls 2 and not King's Field 5.
It's running in 40 FPS without:
- AI/NPCs
- environment ("level")
- HD sound
Add those and performance would take a nice dive. And no, I don't believe that NG consoles will run those kind of advanced physics.
Let's be realistic, NG consoles will most likely be on the level of average PC from 2011/2012 (in spite of tech demos that will try to tell you otherwise).

@deadlybrand, Kara is running on a PS3 and Samaritan on a PC with 3xGTX580. If you somehow managed to reduce detail and run Samaritan on PS3, I believe that Kara would walk over Samaritan in every way.
Considering that Samaritan runs on a system that is now more powerful than next gen consoles will be, you are comparing apples and oranges.
And in another news, since Samaritan was running on 3xGTX580 and now it (probably) runs on a single GTX680, it kinda goes...
