This is fucking epic! Day one for me. And to those 360 owners trolling how it looks exactly like KZ2 I have 2 things to say:
1. You do not own PS3 so you wouldn't know.
2. When anything on 360 looks like KZ2 then we'll have something to talk about.

No "overrated" list is complete without halo series. I played halo 1 on pc - horrible experience. Insane system reqs for insanely ugly game. Played halo 3 on 360 (had 360 for 9 months) - horrible. Poor graphics, shooting at midget dinosaurs is generic as it gets, and that fabled multiplayer that everybody is screaming about is one of the worst multiplayer experiences ever.
Basically multiplayer consists of jousting to another player and smacking him with your rifle...
I'd say that microsoft has nothing in store for the long run. They will continue to rely on paying for timed exclusives and they will probably invest much of their time in kineckt.
I strongly believe that x720 will come in next 2 years since microsoft designed it's hardware for a sprint rather than a marathon.

Now, Carmack is a smart guy, but Rage could turn out to be a nice tech demo for ID tech 5 and not so much a game (similar to Doom 3 which had horrible gameplay/story and nice graphics). Besides, post nuclear wasteland - I'm sick of that setting. Just like World War 2 it's been overmilked.
Sadly, I don't believe that this game will be such a gem as ID likes to advertise it. Gameplay looks unexciting and enviromental textures look quite blurry.

I already saw few of these lists and I do wonder, why the hell does everyone skip castlevania lords of shadow - it's coming out October 5. This is one of my most anticipated games this year.

For me, there is simply nothing special about this game. Graphics wise, game looks ok, but gameplay, enemies, weapons, all look boring. Next to this, voiceovers are very annoying.
Who knows, maybe I'm wrong, but judging from gameplay videos looks like I'm not far off.
I'm sick of these unreal 3 engine games, they all look and feel the same. Looks like another generic garbage. Since Brink comes out at about the same time, I choose Brink.
