Hardly. More like 10-15 years. Take a look at situation now. Most popular engine on the planet is Unreal 3 engine, it is being used for entire console generation and its graphics, while pretty are far cry from photorealistic.
If next generation uses Unreal 4 engine (and it will), situation will hardly improve. Very few studios evolve graphics (in fact it's mostly only Sony's first party studios when it comes to consoles).
