The word "scale" is too loose. Do you mean explorability? because if you do then hmm, I agree (not that it means too much, mind you) But if you did mean scale then I'm guessing you haven't played God Of War 3 ;) the scale in that game is much bigger than Rage, and it looks quite a lot better too.
It will also (console version) never look as good as exclusives can look.
There are better looking console games, don't see how you reached that conclusion.

Framerate drops are not significant in either, notice how no rreviewers nit-pick either game for frame-rate drops. I've put many hours into both games and noticed only a very slight occasional hiccup, but guess what, for both games. Not just GT5. FM3 and GT5 ...

Huh? Look at UC2/3, KZ3, GT5 (the best looking racing game on any platform, no PC racer surpasses it graphically)
But there are already better looking PS3 games - UC2, GT5, Heavy Rain, KZ2 etc. so why wait? UC3 and KZ3 will only further confirm that Crytek have under delivered on the graphics that they promised big time.

@solidt12 it's not the current gen consoles' faults - just look at KZ2/3, UC2/3, GT5. Much better graphics can be produced than this on consoles.
