Let me ask you this, when you've taken the disc out of the box and put the game in and started playing, do you really care what the box art looks like?
We should have an article on barcodes next....I'm not pleased with some of them, they should be more appealing.
They hide and take cover?!
I've never seen that before, thank God for Killzone2!
They aren't though, they're just talking about piracy. Calm down.
Mass-produce? PCs are hand crafted by the individual don't you know! And yes most PCs played on by PC gamers are capable.
EDIT - Woops.
But that's the thing, hackers are persistant. And isn't the PS3 supposed to be on a 10 year lifetime? A modchip will get made, and Blu-ray burners will become a cheap upgrade. Then the last half of the PS3s life will become pirate material.
To say it's not a problem on PS3 is kind of obvious. Even on the time frame you can't be sure...
Yes the ps3 isn't hacked yet, thanks for the info.
EDIT: Yes thebudgetgamer it was a bit of a smarmy comment tbh, lol. Sorry.
@Sarcasm
Piracy makes an appearance on every console at one stage or another, if you think the PS3 is any different you're wrong.
I guarantee you that people are working on it right now, it's just a matter of time.
Umm, Return to Wolfenstein ran on the Quake 3 Engine.
As for the game I thought it was pretty good, not as good as I was hoping it to be though. Pretty solid shooter, but nothing spectacular.
Hmm, interesting read. Pricing is definitely a big factor concerning new games I think, but I can't see most publishers doing anything other than raising prices. The bean counters would have a fit, as well as the stockholders.
That's the thing, everyone's going to want to be a Big Daddy. But they will obviously take this into consideration and will balance things accordingly I should imagine.
But it will need a lot of work to make it, um, work.
While I won't be getting the game for the multiplayer it does look like it will be a lot of fun. Just hope they can make sure it's balanced correctly.
Yeah a lot of people seem to forget that this is IGNs opinion, no matter what order IGN put their list in people would disagree. That's the thing with opinions, everyone's got one.
Like my choice for the no 1 slot would be the SNES. I spent so much time on that console, so many nights were filled with playing mariokart with friends. I lost days playing on it with the games it had. And it's so robust, I've got the same SNES I bought in 1992 and it's still going strong. Although it...
After seeing that photo I feel jealous now, that's an impressive collection, especially as you say that's only half of your games. Nice.
Lol wut?
It's so 1986. For me anyway.
@Ocelot525
That's strange then, I could have sworn I played through Halo on my old 6800gt a couple of years ago, hmm. And backwards compatibility can involve a bit of brainwork now and again but it's there, and achievable.
How much chance has a 360 or ps3 got at backwards compatibility? There's no middle ground, you either can or you can't, whereas with a pc there's a possibility that you can get a game to work, you just have to persevere, but more often than not ...
Indeed, although I prefer a nice physical purchase the Steam way is still very effective and I wouldn't mind buying games all the time that way.
EDIT:In reply to Pandamobiles post below lol.
Thanks Ma, lol.
Fair enough, I was just joking really, but I can see your point.
