With this years busiest period coming up do you really think Nintendo will not make large amounts of sales? Do you think the Wii will not sell this Christmas? Have you seen the games coming to Wii?

The Dreamcast made an impact on me with Jet Set Radio, it was a good console but it was seriously flawed.

And you could buy the ps2 games and play them, as long as you had an original ps3. That's the fundamental thing that's been bugging me.
Was Backward compatability taken away because of hardware changes in the ps3? Or was it something that could be enabled by software?
Why is an original ps3 capable of playing ps2 games, yet a slim version is not?

Sorry but I have to say that Backwards Compatability is a big deal.
Now you look at the rereleased games coming out on ps3. They took the ability of playing ps2 console games away from you for the slim. Is that a good idea? You have to pay to play old ps games.
But if you had an original ps3 machine to play ps2 games on your ps3 then you can.

Slim equals can't
