Well think of it this way, when you buy a film you are getting about 1.30 to 3.00 hrs worth of entertainment for the price of that (lets just say) dvd.
That dvd might cost you (I'm English, so work it out for dollars if you want) £15.
That dvd has kept you entertained (let's go for the highest amount of time you've watched it) for 3 hrs, which works out at 15 divided by 3 equaling £5 an hour.

Yeah I'm sick of it really, every game that gets released is scrutinized and picked upon by fanboys. Far more time by the fanboys is spent on the internet picking holes in games rather than actually playing them.

I think Bioware are one of the only developers I know who have consistently made great games. I wasn't a fan of Jade Empire but that was because it wasn't to my taste, plenty of people did love it.
Looking forward to ME2, I might have stopped playing Dragons Age by then. Maybe.
Not neccessarily, some games don't need it, especially if they just shoehorn it in just for the sake of having multiplayer.
I think inFAMOUS would benefit greatly from having MP, but some games are made that just wouldn't work in MP.
Yes but HR is going to be a dialogue heavy game, I'd prefer GTA not to have too much chit chat. Just enough to give the game a good story, I don't want GTA:The MGS version thanks.

I played a couple of levels when I first got it, my kids love it and I saw it was something I could get into, it was a lot of fun to play. But the blockbusters were there to play as well.
