I didn't like FFVIII really, it overcomplicated things imo. Although to be fair I didn't give it much of a chance, I got it cheap and played it for a few hours. But then that could be an indication of how much I didn't like it.
The only FF games I've ever enjoyed are FFVI,FFVII and FFX.

I loved FFVII, one of the best JRPGs I've ever played. I wouldn't say it's overrated, maybe not for everyones taste but definitely not overrated.
I'm downloading the demo to see what all the fuss is about. I kinda liked DMC4, maybe I'll like this.
I've got a ps3 and I find it quite sickening myself (not the ps3, the fanbois). I love it but I don't feel the need to fight for its honour at every given moment of the day.
Indeed, some games are just suited to SP, they don't need MP to improve anything and I'd rather they just put all their resources into making that SP experience even better.
It's the same with BioShock, I see no reason to include it in really. Anyone into MP games have an abundance of titles to choose from which are made specifically with the MP audience in mind.

For me it would be between Dragons Age and UC2, I can't quite choose between them though because those are the two games I've played most this year. Saying that, I've got Demons Souls to look forward to on Xmas day, so the gaming year's not over for me yet. I've got a feeling Demons Souls will change my opinion again.
The thing is that while a good amount of adults own a ds I would imagine that the VAST majority of ds owners are children. And while I'm sure some parents will quite happily buy an 18+ game for their kids, a lot won't.
That week pretty much belongs to Nintendo.
Trophy syncing issue resolved - This is good, I'm not much of a trophy whore but I was having trouble with it, the fact that something doesn't work bugs me. I'm gonna update now and see if it does fix it.

I'm getting this for my son for Xmas. I'll probably play it more than he will, hehe.
The game wasn't that great really, this is a more suitable price.
Captain, they stayed with the 360 because they couldn't pirate anymore if they bought a PS3.
