Why? Because they decided to add more content than they first planned to. They now plan on adding 60$ worth of content instead of 40$.

Long story short, they decided to expend the game even more, but they can't do that for free.

They're not being punished, the season pass will still cost less than every DLC all together.

They had three choices: release a second season pass (people would have been pissed), release the next DLC outside the season pass (people would have been pissed) or not releasing anymore DLC because it would exceed the price of the season pass.

So they decided to give all the new content for free for people who already bought it, and they warn people who were al...

I'm pretty sure all Fallout 3 DLC cost $50 though, and I never heard anyone complain about them

I laugh at the comments here. Bethesda first planned to release 30$ worth of DLC, but then decided to make even more content for the game, so instead of making a second season pass (like Evolve), they decided to give all that content for free for everyone who already bought it AND gave a 2 weeks notice for everyone who might be interested, and people complain about that?

But by reading the comments here, it seems like people didn't even read the articles at all (like usua...

I don't see the problem here... the DLC are going to be worth more than $60 and they're increasing the price of the season pass to $50 and they give people 2 weeks notice Listening to you guys, you'd prefer Bethesda to stop working on new expansions all together.

What they could have done is to release a season pass 2, like Destiny or Evolve, to include the next DLC they're planning to add. But instead, they gave them for "free" to people who bought...

Exactly, two different markets. People who own a PC buy consoles to play exclusives, people who don't own a PC buy consoles to play games. A lot of people like the simplicity of "plug and play" consoles have and don't want to spend time fixing issues.

People here speak like every gamers play on PC and own consoles only to play a handful of exclusives.

@hemmo1986

I'm interested in more Wii U exclusives than in PS4's and Xbox One's combined. I guess not everyone thinks like you.

Exactly what I'm wondering. I'm experience quite a few framerate drops in some areas that really impacts my experience. I really wish they can fix those issues. I don't really want them to make it worst tbh.

@yomfweeee

Rise of the Tomb Raider hasn't been cracked yet, did you even read the article? I'm really curious to see your "lists". Start by reading the article before replying to people.

Quite the opposite, the list I've seen has publishers like Ubisoft, EA and Activision on top. Three companies that don't have a good reputation among gamers.

You clearly don't understand lol. It's more like someone would spend time, effort and money trying to sell necklaces on the street and you would just go there and clone an exact copy of that person's necklace without paying anything. So yea he doesn't lose one, but he ain't making a profit either. If enough people do that, he'll go bankrupt.

I'm pretty sure if you were an indie dev who spent years making a game and try to self publish it you wouldm...

I'm not defending pirating, but publishers (or devs) need to understand that DRM or anti-temper are not the solution to get more sells, making good quality games is. And especially being loyal to your fans and stop taking them for mindless walking wallets. Just look at CD Projekt Red, in august, they sold more than 6 millions copies of the game. Plus, I know people who bought The Witcher 3 on multiple platforms just to support the company.

There's always a bunch of pe...

Well it's good and bad in some way. What I hate is that some famous Youtubers can make shitty levels and have a lot of popularity and stars. On the other hand, you have people who take a lot of time making good levels (and not just throwing everything they can) and because people don't really stumble upon them, they get deleted.

Most of the levels I played are just mindless, annoying and just not fun to play. So I can see why Nintendo would need to delete some now an...

That's because the gameplay they show is less than a year away from the release. The game is almost ready for launch. The Division and Watch Dogs' first gameplay was released years before the actual release
