I bought my PS4 not long ago, I don't get why I would spend another 600$ on the same freaking console. If anything, I'd buy an Xbox One as well.
I'm worried that most of my games will have a hard time running at a stable fps on the PS4; Fallout 4, The Witcher 3, Just Cause 3 already have that problem, I don't see how it couldn't be even worst. I don't give a heck if people want to waste 1000$ on the same console, I just don't want to be penalize when I got my PS4 less than two years ago.

If they were to make another one without giving it proper attention, then no. But I'm pretty sure that if Sony ever do another portable system, they won't do the same mistakes they did with the PS Vita. I love my PS Vita, but it's become an indie system.
We already have games that can't even maintain a stable 30fps. You really think that won't get worst with a more powerful console? Console ain't like a PC, devs don't give you control over what you prefer: performance or graphic. And console games will always favor graphics over performance. Just look at how people bashed Fallout 4 for its graphics before it even was released. On its performance? Not that much, even though it suffers for a lot of fps drops.

Current games can barely have a stable 30fps (Fallout 4, The Witcher 3, Just Cause 3), you really think that with better hardware devs won't make games worst on the original? There won't be any exclusives, but I'm sure a lot of them will be almost unplayable. Just look at the New 3DS, Hyrule Warriors on the original has really a hard time maintaining 30fps.
I was the first the defend the price increase for the season pass, but so far it seems like a total ripoff... their other DLC really need to be long and worthy. Really lost a lot of respect for Bethesda. This DLC should totally have been free.
It doesn't seem to be an optimization problem, because people with worst builds than mine have no issues. More like something interfering with the game performance (some people claimed that installing the game on a HDD instead of SSD worked for them, other that removing all USB devices from their PC worked). My fps is about 40-50 all of the time, even on lowest resolution and graphical settings - which makes no sense at all - and the game stutters a lot.
It's really a...
Just go look at DS3's reviews on Steam... It's the main reason why this game is "mostly positive". I'm not the only one with those problems. And actually, I have the exact same cpu (8350) with a R9 390 and 8gb of ram. I can run most games at high-ultra too with a stable 60fps, but not DS3.
A freaking patch from the devs. A lot of people, including me, with high end pcs, have problems running to game at a stable 60fps, even everything set to low including the resolution. That's without mentioning the crashes.
What I hate about Fallout 4 is the way you get side quests. I have absolutely nothing to do except helping settlements and the main quest. I think overall, on a 100 hours playthrough, I only did like 7 real side quests.
In Skyrim my journal was always full of things to do and doing 2 or 3 things could last hours. In Fallout 4, my journal is full of "infinite" boring quests.
I seriously hope they make them more available. Never been able to get my hands on a Hearts of Stone physical copy here in Canada...
I'm so sick of "near-futuristic" shooters...
It's not like that game was brought up from the dead. The last installment was in 2013.
Low fps with my FX 8350 // R9 390 Strix. Changing graphical settings does absolutely nothing. I can barely hit 60fps even when looking at the sky. And that's without mentioning the stuttering issues.
With all due respect, this performance analysis is useless for a lot of people if you don't include an AMD gpu.

Here bud, you dropped this.
When it's cheap
"Can confirm the new update on PC improved the framerate HUGELY. What once ran and chugged along at about 24-30fps is now a rock solid 60."
NICE
Exactly. He seems to do a lot of interviews and sadly, despite all the other projects he has, most people only care for what he has to say about his experience with Kojima.
That's why I'm not. Imagine how worst it will be on the original consoles. And by the way, what will most likely happen is devs trying to push graphics even higher so it will pretty much be the same performance but with better slightly better graphics.
