I don't think current games will look better on the new consoles or even have unlocked fps. Maybe just a more stable 30fps. If devs have a new system configuration, they'll aim to have the best looking and best performing game with that one. It will either have exclusives or really poor looking or/and poor running game on the original. So yea, if that's the case, they basically force everyone to upgrade.
PS+ has so much value back then, especially if you owned a Vita as well. At first, when the PS4 launched, I knew that they couldn't give up games like Killzone SF for free when it just has been released. But now, it's ridiculous. To add insult to the injury, even games on Vita and PS3 are nothing compared to what we were getting before PS+ became mandatory for online mp on PS4. I'm not renewing my PS+ anytime soon. I was paying for good games, not for online mp.
I used to be a PS+ subscribers back in the days when they released good titles on PS3 and Vita. Now, on every platform, all they release is games that have no value. It's pretty obvious that they don't care about free games anymore since the main reason for people to own a PS+ account is PS4 online. That's why I'm boycotting it.
I mean, people can whine all they want, but if they keep renewing their subscription, don't expect things to change.

Sounds EXACTLY like the Wii U: more powerful than current gen console, touchscreen controller, release midway of the current gen, etc. But if it uses cartridges, does this mean no backward compability? There are a lot of rumors saying that there'll be a more powerful PS4 and Xbox One, just the NX could launch and already be outdated by the current gen...
Anyway, I love my Wii U, and I'm really sick of those "leaks". I'll just wait and see at this year...

I honestly don't know how this will work. If they want to make the PS4 4K, then they will need to upgrade the gpu (and probably the cpu). But will the next games being developed on the console be limited to 4K? I mean, 4K is really good looking, but it requires a lot of power even for high end PC. So wouldn't it be better to have a PS4.5 with games that perform better? But if that happens, will that mean that some games will be exclusives to the PS4.5? Will Sony push it to PS4 owners ...
That's really awesome. I'm a PS fanboy and I really think Sony need to do something with their free games. It lost a lot of value since PS+ became mandatory for online mp.

It's just a name though... the MP didn't suck because it was named Ghosts, it sucked because of poor level design and unbalanced weapons. Everyone was freaking camping and they were selling good weapons for real money. They could name it anything, if they don't fix that, it will still suck.
I usually prefer to play the whole game then return to levels that I liked and try to beat my scores and going different routes. But with the new Hitman, they give you one level and that's it (I don't really count the tutorial levels).
