It's really lame considering that the actual price in Cad is 650$ and not 699$. It would actually be cheaper to just cross the border to buy one there, which is ridiculous.
And that's without mentioning that the cad is still increasing. As a Canadian, I would take my time before preordering anything.
I'd love to play MCC on PC
I did say "wow", but it was followed by "I hope this is a f***ing joke*
Me too. I always loved the Hitman series. Tbh I don't really mind the episodic way they're taking, what I do mind though is that they're planning to release 5 maps. So the whole game will features only 6 levels... it sounds extremely small especially considering that Blood Money had 13.
Because with all the shit that's happening with greedy publishers, they have all the right to. That's not the problem. The problem is that they keep supporting companies then go on the internet and whine about them. Whine with your wallets, not your keyboards.
Well you can meet people online, so it is online. I'm not saying anything bad about the game, quite the opposite - I wasn't too sure if I wanted to play the game, but after reading this article, I'm really pumped and will definitely buy it day one - and that's the main reason why I'd like to experience it with friends. I don't whine for a game like Fallout 4 to have mp, I want to be able to meet with my friends in an online game.
That's what kills it for me. It's kinda a slap in the face to play an online game without being able to play with friends.
My problem with this game is that it looks like crap - not graphically, but the overall art. It looks like a game you would find on Android for a few bucks. And from the gameplay videos I've seen, it doesn't seem to control great either. I think it's a huge missed opportunity; it could have been great with the gameplay of Metroid Prime Hunters and the actual art style of a Metroid game.
The thing is people don't buy consoles to constantly invest money in them to play recent games. If that happens, consoles will become overpriced; pay for online, pay for upgrades, not as many deals on games.
I mainly play on my PC and have a PS4 and Wii U for exclusives. If consoles ever become upgradable I can tell you a lot of people will just stop buying them and focus on PC.
F*** off Microsoft. Everyone knows that monopoly is only good for the companies and not the customers.
And I'm just here waiting for MCC to be on PC
I was really hyped for this game, but the more I see gameplay videos, the less I am. It feels like there's absolutely nothing to do than explore randomly generated worlds. It looks fun for a few hours, but if the game doesn't reward you for doing so, it's kinda pointless to have infinite worlds tbh. I really hope they're holding off a lot of things and that the game will have much more depth than just what we've seen.
Wish amazon.ca would get nice deals like those too
Yea it's not bad. And I forgot about all the interiors locations that are not represented on the map.
Seems kinda small for a MMORPG
They had an amazing franchise with huge potential in their hands and pretty much scrapped it for the sake of yearly releases.
@ThunderPulse
Even though MGSV performances are really impressive, the frame rate do drop below 60 in certain areas and situations.
People say that, but still continue to pay for it.
I think it's a great game, but a really bad MGS
@masterfox
haha after seeing how some ports perform on PC (Unity, Black Flag, Batman Arkham Knight, Just Cause 3) I have no trouble believing that.
But it's weird at the same time since you hear a lot of people saying how hard it is to get hire as a developer at Ubisoft (I live in Montréal and one of their big stuidos is here), especially how they're infamous at making bad ports. Is programation that hard or it's more about how it is managed...
