For me the difference is we got cool functional toys that came with all sorts of features. The disney Infinity "toys" are not the action figurers we grew up with but instead just statues they're passing off as toys to justify the cost of the dlc. Also the toys we grew up with can pretty much be passed down to our children and so on while this game will get played for 6 months and then get switched out for something new.
It funny how an incomplete game can get such a high score. They even mention it in the review that you are basically forced into buying more characters, powers etc. DLC should be an a optional add on not something mandatory to experience the full game. I would be more forgiving if the toys were more functional but even the toys are very plain and then you have to buy "power discs" too. If you buy this game you might as well throw your money into a bottomless pit. It might be fun but there is no way I could ever justify buying a game where I have to spend over $200 just to get complete game.

It wasn't(Buy Wonderful 101) even subliminal. It (Buy Wonderful 101)was completely obvious and(Buy Wonderful 101) used as an ending slide to each segment. Anyways the game(on September 15th)looks awesome.
The epicness of this game is off the charts.
This is not how you treat your main IP's. It's one thing when you make games like these based of Movie characters but to take Videogame characters from your some of biggest IP's and to plaster them onto such a obviously low quality mobile app is just a bad idea all around.

For some people putting down money for a new console is a big deal and they want to make sure it's worth the cost.They also don't want to buy one without a fleshed out line up, end up not using it for a while and then gradually see price drops and special bundles pass them by. There are also going to be kinks early on whenever you have new tech like this. Nothing wrong with being a cautious consumer.
This game really looks like the real deal.
