Although the Wii U most likely wont be as successful as Wii, doesn't mean they should abandon it. It's got a good line-up of games for next year and hopefully the following ones as well. I think they'll make it through until the next console is announced.
Some of you are pathetic. absolutely pathetic. Hassling this man over all this and then expecting him to just SIT there and take it?! Get real, this shit has been going on for a year! They all work hard to make these games for our enjoyment and most of you complaining are just spitting in their faces with talk of boycotting, insulting them and hoping their game will fail hard just because the sequel to the game is not on your preferred console?! I agree, Part of me wishes I would have waited until now, but I don't regret buying it earlier either.
And if now isn't a good time to some, mid-next year would be an even better time seeing as it'll have more of a library and some more hardcore games.

I think they should have at least added in a Smash bros character reveal to ease the slight sting. I was upset that Cranky Kong was the only thing shown, but really, the whole show was utter crap. a bore-fest, I regret sitting through it honestly.
So in a way, I'm now fine with this. It wasn't that big of a show in the first place, so why reveal anything huge anyway? I mean, I guess they could have shown something more surprising and stole the show, but they didn't. No ha...

No..? Wii U definitely would be mistaken for a Wii then, the controller is what sets it apart.
I rather like what the Gamepad can do. It's really useful for certain games, even if it's just showing off maps or your item inventory. And off tv play is just great in my opinion. I guess I'm weird or something for liking non-traditional gaming controllers as well...

People are going to disregard the Wii U anyway, that's just how majority of the gaming community is, Without a pretty spec sheet and some uberly 'mature' games.

I'll be enjoying my games for it in 2014 and that's all that matters to me, not whether or not someone thinks Wii U is next gen.
I don't care if it did or not.
