Now that I look over this whole thing, it's kinda funny. Whether the announement got good feedback or not.. the game is getting attention now apparently.
And since the whole of the VGX was crap... the Nintendo reveal wasn't all that horrible. I guess I should blame myself for getting my hopes up and taking this to seriously.
I'm excited for this game.. still paying off the pre-order and all.. but announcing this at VGX was just a stupid idea. Not to mention disappointing. Now when I play DK TF I'll remember this fuck up of a mistake. And remember to keep my hopes low.
I'm not giving up on Nintendo over this, but I am sour towards them now.

The thing with Square Enix lately though, is that the games may look good, but that is about it. They haven't put out an amazing FF game since the single digits. That's my opinion at least. FF13 sealed the deal on killing off FF for me.
And Kingdom Hearts 3? Have fun waiting for it, because it seems lately their priority is to spit out as many FF games as they possibly can. I wont be expecting KH3 until 2015 or so.
I just want shulk. That's all it would take to make me happier with the game.

Yeah. My 3Ds has been spoiled. I'm slightly satisfied with my Wii U, but so far 2014 looks like I'll be focusing on my Wii U rather than 3Ds instead. So for now? I'm fully enjoying 3Ds and enjoying whatever I can on my Wii U. SM3DW atm <3
It makes sense that they'd show Zelda. They held it off at E3 AND Comic-con. This is the perfect opportunity to finally show the real game. Plus Aonuma has been talking about it a lot lately.
And now that I think about it, they did say "another look at a previously announced game" since you mention the tech demo... maybe that could count towards the whole 'another look' thing.
I'm hoping for it more than anything.
I hope it's X, Zelda U, Smash, or SMTxFE.
Those are the only games I figured would be suitable for this kind of thing.
Even if X isn't the announcment, I'd like to see some more footage. Maybe a name?

Looks like Square Enix is losing the rest of their best. I don't blame the people for leaving honestly, the company seems to only be a shell of what it was when it was Square Soft..

I love the English voice actors used for the Operation Rainfall trio Xenoblade and The Last Story mostly.
Especially Therius' voice actor. I wish the guy had more lines just to hear him talk...
