The PS3 problems are just speculation on the Gamepro author's part. The title is a bit misleading and may help to incite a flame war. Other than that, cool bits of info.
LOL Nobiz. You see as many haters on the 360 side. You're just being blind to them. Me, I ignore them. Same with the PS3 fanboys. Anyway, Halo 3 looks sweet and KZ 2 looks sweet as well but no one on either side will admit to the other.
Well, okay. The PS3 fanboys are more paranoid, while the 360 fanboys are just as illogical in their arguments, just not as paranoid. But I believe paranoia will spring up if Halo 3 recieves an 8 on a gaming site.
Don't see why people disagreed with you.
The inclusion of Rico might be their way of having co-operative that fits in with the story and they may make online co-op based on that which could be what this online test is.
I disagree. Best John Woo film was The Killer. Had all the emotional attachment that Hard Boiled lacked. They should have made a game based on that.
Sure. They can be as petty though and pettiness can translate into paranoia.
I mean, a real reviewer would probably request his own private build and play it on his own turf in order to ensure journalistic integrity. But doing so would probably be missing out on an early review for a multimillion dollar game. I agree though that it is a little sketchy. Shouldn't really effect the score though. Unless Microsoft gives out bags of cash and a free Ferrari to every journalist at the event. BTW the embargo is standard procedure.
And if Halo 3 gets a bad review from a site, than Halo 3 fanboys will say Sony paid them. It is the same on both sides for all games.
You're gonna be waiting for a long time lol.
The reviews are gonna be written next week, but we can't see em until September 23rd. So there isn't gonna be a review flood until the week of Halo 3 launch.
Some 360 Fanboys are too critical too.
Getting ready for the new IPs?
Wow. Three people disagreed.
I don't give a damn about the first person to play, finish, and review Halo 3. I care about the actual game. Bring on the direct feed campaign videos.
It's probably importable as hell too since they'd only record English voice overs.
OMG. Seriously dude. You have got to be one of the worst fanboys I have ever seen. If it were a 1 point difference you might have an argument with substance. This isn't even a quarter of a point.
edit- Well, it is hard to tell sarcasm from serious fanboy delusions on this site. It could go either way.
Same text and popups lol. Loved Conan the Barbarian though. Might be worth a look.
I agree. Both 360 and PS3 fanboys are getting excited over nothing. A lot of multiplatform games have those .2-.1 point differences.
The cross platform White Engine does not mean the FFXIII will be multiplatform. Hell, the base White Engine was probably modified extensively and optimized for the PS3. Just like all other middleware engines, they can be modified. However it probably means that the next Square MMO that runs on the White Engine will. My best bet is PS3, 360, and PC hopefully cross platform MMO. I don't see a problem with developing an engine that can be run cross platform. If Square decides to licence it out, ...
