This wasn't really surprising news as it was either gonna be PS3 exclusive or multiplatform. That and the fact that Sony is the third largest shareholder of Square-Enix. If Star Ocean 4 plays more like Oblivion than Final Fantasy (as the article suggest), it would be a welcome addition to my library. Hopefully the story won't be as kooky as Star Ocean 3.
You forgot the PSP Final Fantasy Dissidia game. Looks sweet. Crisis Core may force me to buy a PSP2k.
UT 3 isn't even counted. In my eyes, it is more anticipated than Stranglehold. I love Hard Boiled, but lets face it. It caters to a very niche audience that loves HK flicks. I fit into that but not a lot of people do. That analyst is a dumbass.
Off topic, but Crisis Core looks sick. Will probably buy a PSP for when it comes out. And with the TV connection that would be even sweeter.
Don't really know why they called it Far Cry 2 if it is so different narrative wise from the first. Probably just name recognition I guess. However, a game that looks this good can probably create a new franchise.

Early adopters should recieve a $100 check to spend wherever they please and $100 store credit isn't as good. I guess, it is still better than nothing.
It's amazingly popular over there. I own a DS and can't wait for a lot of the Squeenix titles. That could be one of the reasons for its popularity.
The Wii won't see a deal, but I'd expect to see one by Sony or Microsoft.

They should have removed one of their speculated titles and put in Condemned 2. Played the first and it was sick. Can't wait for the sequel.
I agree. And it was way too early for any site to publish anything about anticipated games of 08. The only console that has a lot of good games announced for an 08 release is the PS3. The Wii and the 360 are clouded in secrecy. Doesn't mean there isn't anything good. Just means we don't know anything. These guys were just pullin stuff out of their ass. They could have at least waited until after TGS.
Halo Wars definitely deserves a spot on the list.
Seriously doubt that Gears of War 2 will come out next year. A 2 year development period just isn't enough for a AAA title of that calibur. Those Gameradar folks are really grasping at straws there.
It could be that the rumor that they were diverting Wii stock to the US was true. If only we could see the store shelves and see if they are stocked with Wiis.
$100 store credit is useless. You can get deals like that without being cheated out of $200. IMO they are still pissing on their early adopters.
It really went below 900 units. Wow. I think the Japanese 360s are cheaper and more reliable than the US 360s right? Might be a good place to buy one.
I think so too. Microsoft has pretty much given up on the region. America is their strong suit and they are playing to that.

Well, it's like imagining if Halo was multiplatform. Xbox 1 would have never survived. But that's just narrow thinking.
