That's pretty diverse.
They make money because they keep recycling the same game every year.
The difference between annual games would be equivalent to a small update.
Maybe, unless they just don't want to deal with the backlash or months of annoying hate and trolling.
What does digital have to do with it?
It's not like the digital edition is going to be more then $50 difference and if it is I'll be completely surprised.
I have a feeling the price may be over the $600usd mark or we probably would know by now.
Obviously I'm guessing but Sony and MS would probably expect alot of hate if it is over $600. What do I know? but it's probably going to be a last minute announcement.
Reminds me of the cell architecture, great on paper but if it's only exclusive it's not going to get anywhere.
Bullshit
I buy digital as well, but with out a significant price reduction for the digital edition then I will still buy the disc based version.
You never know when you're buddy brings a movie or game over.
No reason to limit your options with out good insensitive.
Don't forget your so called peaceful riots produced over 30 fatalities.
Some people just love to be lied to and can't face reality.
I agree ign are to liberal,God of war and Tlou2 didn't deserve the scores they received.
Zeref that's a lie.
I think it's just the beginning, I for see things getting much much worse.
The switch is a time machine, when you turn it on you teleport back to last generation.
You're dreaming
Well if there's a significant price difference in the digital version then that would be about the only reason I would buy the digital only console.
If it's only a $50 cheaper there is no point and may as well buy the disc version even if you normally buy digital only.
You never know when you just might need the disc drive.
$100 off the digital only version and I'll bite.
In the middle of a pandemic with an inflated unemployment rate , who would ever guess that the cheaper console would sell more ?
Duel shock 1 .... you're ok with buying the new version of an old controller but not the new controller for the new console? .... Which happens to come with the new console to begin with...
Is this really an argument
How did you use a ps1 controller on a ps2 when it doesn't have analog sticks? That must have been a real garbage experience playing games like that on the ps2... or was there only a few games that with the ps1 controller actually worked?
I've gone through multiple ps3's , the worst performing hardware I've ever bought.
Still on my first OGps4 (knock on wood ) it's actually the only playstation generation that I haven't had problems.
Both ps1 and ps2 gave me optical issues, infact I became pretty good at taking them apart to clean them for a temporary fix before having to do it all over again.
You can't compare the 2006 $600 ps3 to a 2020 $600 xsx, that 14 year old $600 price tag would be worth $771usd today.
The value of money is not stagnant, if the xsx is $600 then it would have way more value with far superior tech.
Either way you look at it the xsx is still $171usd cheaper then a launch ps3 was.
You're not getting 60-100 fps at 4k on a budget pc.
Anyone in the market for for these new GPU's has the hardware to support them. The people who don't do their research are going to simply fry components of their pc .
