So what ? Sony barely finished the generation ahead of MS.
It only took Sony a few blunderous moments to put them chasing MS for an entire generation.
It would be unwise for Sony to think they've already won next generation.
No one can say that for certain.
Everyone thought sony would run away with it in gen7 after the success of the ps2 and look how that turned out.
The arrogance of sony and their fanboys has always been their downfall and I wouldn't be surprised if MS has a closer race with sony this gen.
No mention of VR support, kind of odd since GTsport at least had some basic VR in single player.
I would hope there would be full VR support at some point.
The game is still in development , every other game on the list has been released.
Because some gamers actually keep their games and some gamers buy digital games and will always have them in their library.
Nothing wrong with wanting access to all games you have purchased in your digital library.
Would you say sony isn't delivering when it comes to BC as well ?
I'm pretty sure gamers are happy to be able to bring their library forward to next gen, especially gamers who buy digitally.

That's not even the actual size of the game, it's required memory on hdd/ssd.
You need like 10 or 15 extra GB's of free space just to download on ps4 and probably not much difference on the ps5.
The game is probably only 35gb's on ps4.
No one has been clear yet about whether or not 99% of these BC games will be on ps5 release date.
Sony / Cerny wasn't certain of this in his road to ps5 conference, and I have yet to see any actual confirmation.
So what is it ... 99% of BC games day1, or is it 99% eventually ending up on ps5?
All I know is as long as it's a ps4 game you can download it, obviously you can't do that with any ps3 game.
I would expect this is the reason we can download ps4 games from ps now and not because of anything MS did . Also when ps now started it was only ps3 games you could play. If I remember correctly it was shortly after Sony started putting ps4 games up that you could download the games.

I've been a spiderman fan since the mid 70's and I can honestly say I want nothing to do with a Miles Morales game.
For one this is about sony not MS, and secondly, if you're so upset about the series x and next gen games, then why are you buying day one?
That actually happened to me and I buy all digital since it was possible on the ps3.
My account is worth at least $5k at the time and when I contacted customer support the were very friendly and helpful. I was able to recover my account , the whole process took about 10 minutes.
I got lucky, I know not everyone that this happens to doesn't always have a good out come.
You can't play all your games at once, I still only have 500 gb on my ps4 . I keep what I regularly play downloaded and if I decided I want to play something else I delete one and download another.

I don't think there is much of an excuse not to be able to change settings for resolution and fps to suit the needs of the player. Doesn't the pro allow you to do that with certain games?

We're at the end of the gen and if all current ps4 and xbox owners combined bought a ps5 you still wouldn't reach 200Mil . Maybe with a 10 year generation.

Games didn't jump until the Canadian dollar chrashed and lost parity with the US dollar.
Infact Canadian's still have been paying $$60usd, the Canadian dollar is just garbage and that's why we pay more.
The $399 ps5 DE edition is going to cost us over $530 plus tax plus carbon tax ... blame DH Trudeau.
