Electronics do tend to fail time to time, but there are acceptable failure rates and unacceptable failure rates.
When a company has to extend a one year warranty to three years, that would suggest that the failure rate is unacceptable. MS had to do this or they would have to recall the 360 or face lawsuits , this was their way out.
Sony didn't have the same problem , not even close.

I would agree that it's comparable on pc at low settings, the only real difference that I could see at that level was the grass.
There has never been any doubt in my mind that the PC version is a better looking game, just not to the extent that most PC fanboys claim.Although I don't have the best graphics card yet either .... so ...

I have the Mafia 2 demo on both PS3 and PC, and I tell ya they are pretty much the same.
The PC version didn't seem all that much better then the PS3, maybe a little crisper but I really didn't notice any difference in the grass or anything else for that matter.
EDIT: Just to be clear .... the PC version ain't all that shit hot either!

I also have never had an update take anywhere close to a half hour.
I personally do not believe this guys story about slow download times with the ps3 because I am a regular in the psn store(which means I download often).

I have large hands and I have never even had the thought that the DS3 was to small or uncomfortable. Infact I have always found the 360 controller to big and awkword for my preference.
On topic: It looks like MS controllers are more of a ripoff of nintendos controllers then the PS ever where.

A 10 year life cycle doesn't mean the ps4 can't or wont be released sooner. Just look at the ps2, sony still supports it fully, and when the ps4 comes out sony will continue to support the ps3.
While HR may have a great story line, once you've played through all of the 7 endings (like myself), there is very little replay value.
I beat it in a week, mind you I did dedicate many hours to do this, but I should have rented instead.

I have a hard time believing either kinect or move will be serious system sellers. I think the success of either motion controller will depend on the core gamers of either console.
Judging by Sonys approche to cater to the core gamer aswell as the casual, I think the Move will be the better buy/more successfull because it will have games for ever...

I'll stick with Steam, I'd rather have my games on my HDD , and if the net goes out atleast I can play my single player games offline.
