C.Viper is pretty well balanced, and it takes time to develop proper execution with her. Also, you have to have knowledge of the game to really exploit Fei Long. Yun to me is the main problem as he has a lot of non EX moves that are safe on block, but then again I'm not a tournament player so Cacpom shouldn't listen to me. Hopefully they actually make a well balanced game by taking suggestions from the pros
If people's main concerns are still about the design after that E3 trailer then I don't know what to say. The fact that the gameplay looks sluggish and is running at 30 FPS on the Unreal 3 engine means I'm not giving this game a chance. I don't care if it's my favorite game franchise.
Only time framerate truly matters are in fighting games and action games because of the animations to be honest.
Why is everyone coming after DICE all of a sudden?
This article was spot on. The original Resistance was like this as well. I don't know what the hell they're doing with R3. Seems like everyone is trying to be COD, even those who develop games in different genres.
I honestly don't see the need for new consoles at the moment. PS4 for what, better graphics and a slightly better online experience for $300-$500? Most games today lack innovation and I'm not sure if moving onto to the next gen will solve that.
So I guess I should be excited for all of the linear FPS coming out?
See how easy that was.
You're over exaggerating what I said. This is coming from someone who is a HUGE DMC fan. I'm still a little upset over the design, but the combat system is much more important. If it's not Truestyle tournament caliber then I'm not giving it a shot. I don't want NT/Capcom to think that if they release some DLC/unlockable costume that everything is going to be ok. If it's not traditional DMC action running at 60 FPS it's a no go.
To tell you the...
The media and fans alike keep thinking it's the design. I could careless about how he looks as long as the combat is fast-paced with an emphasis on being stylish. With that said, what I've seen in that trailer wasn't what I wanted. Gameplay was too sluggish and it's as if NT are trying to force a DMC game out of the Unreal engine. It can't handle a fast-paced action game like DMC.
I can't believe some people are actually impressed by the gameplay ...
So according to you and a few other people this game plays like this:
Gameplay looks very stiff because of the Unreal engine. Doesn't looks like you can create your own combos either. Some people will be happy because they're finally showing something, but I'm not satisfied at all. It's my favorite game series ever, but I just can't get down with this gameplay. I'll just wait for the collection, NG3, and Bayonetta.
Exactly.
It seems as if you based your perception of P* just off of Vanquish. Bayonetta has tons of replay value.
Isn't it like that with most shooters though? lol at the end of the day all most people care about is the multiplayer
I'm sorry, but the cutscenes in Operations on KZ3 are hilarious lol.
David Jaffe even said DMC had a huge influence on GOW when the first one was in development lol. Saying it ripped off DMC is a little too strong though
lol
Lmao at this picture:

lol I know. I'm not interested in non of this hoopla. Just let me know when PSN is back.
Oh, and word of advice to people who use their credit/debit card for PSN transactions. Delete your information after every transaction. It may seem tedious if you're constantly buying new products from PSN, but it will definitely help you in the long run.
Hideki does have some of the most annoying fans on twitter. They always ask questions about the games he made on Capcom instead of his future at P*.
