Games today are too much about delivering cinematic experiences. Bayonetta was about stylish action. At the end of the day that's all I care about.
If MML3 got canceled then they can give up on this project as well. At least people wanted MML3. It's simply not feasible to keep working on a project that the majority of the fanbase dislikes just to prove something. If P* or the DMC3 team can't make the sequel then let this series lay low for awhile. Say what you want about DMC fans, but you have to agree that Capcom/NT went a little too far with this new direction.
Vanquish is a game that stuck out to me this gen. Dark Souls is another example. Not every game has to be Katamari Damacy, but there should be some gameplay mechanic that separates it from everything else out. Uncharted chooses to focus on giving players a cinematic experience. It does it well, but it's not going to make me play the game over and over. It's just another shooter that happens to flesh out it's story.
It's similar to how everyone loves Heave...
Oh no. There's no way a typical 3rd person shooter with some cool cinematics can score less than a 5/5 lol. I'm trolling right now, but come on. Complaining about Uncharted getting 4/5? It's not the most innovative title ever.
Such a great action game. It's a shame we probably won't get a sequel because it didn't sell well. Some people didn't "get" the game. However, Vanquish is a great experience when one plays the game the way it was meant to be played.

That's a Ron Paul reference? lol
This is somewhat a slap in the face to the people who've bought all of the DLC characters. However, most people here on N4G don't understand how fighting games work. The reason why there are multiple releases is because a lot of work goes into re-balancing the whole roster for competitive play, and given the fact that it's a niche genre these companies (not named Capcom) can't really survive without charging for updates. If a 2D fighter isn't made by Capcom then it'...
How come I can't just unlock the skins by finishing the game on a hard difficulty? If you're going to offer DLC at least make sure it's episodic content if it's a single player game. This is just pathetic.
Maybe if Bruce Wayne had AK-47s the game would receive more hype from journalists. I'm trolling I know...
or am i?
Is it possible for a game that's published by a multi-billion dollar company to sell out lol.
Guardian Heroes...please
The main reason I'm against this game is because I don't agree with Capcom's westernization theory. I tried to be optimistic about this game after the first trailer because they brought back the gothic artstyle from 1 & 3, but their previous games have proved that they're simply not cut out to make this type of game. I'm pretty sure they can make an adventure game with quality production along the lines of Uncharted, but they can't make a fast paced action game es...
I'm kind of glad they pushed this back because all of my time would have went to this instead of BF3 & Batman. They probably did this to ensure the netcode is in good condition.
Yeah I agree with BlindGuardian. If having a bad camera angle is needed to make the game scarier then something isn't right. If Capcom can somehow make a game that resembles the "Hook-Man" version of RE4 then maybe we'll finally have a good RE after 6 years.
Idk how people can get excited over these sub-par gameplay trailers. Do people want to ignore all of the flaws just to prove a point to the fans who are against this?
Ahh well, Bayonetta 2 will be announced soon.
Well excuse me for looking forward to seeing Japanese games at a Japanese gaming convention. What the hell was I thinking lol.
I just want Bayonetta 2 to be announced, and more footage of the following games: KOF13, Dragon's Dogma and Anarchy Reigns.
This game can't come out soon enough.
Also, Ash is a dude TheSoundDefense.
Some people will just never understand that DMC combat system has the complexity of one found in fighting games which is the main reason why fans are upset NT is handling the game. There are tournaments where players show off their skills on YouTube for crying out loud. They're trying hard to make a game that looks like DMC on the surface (character design aside) instead of making an action game that's better than Bayonetta/DMC3 and they're failing at that. People want fans to ...
The PETA organization is the true definition of contradiction.
