A fantastic game. The battle system is up there as one of the best in the series. The characters are likable, the story is pretty good & the skits are as funny as ever.
Although i would have liked that Luger had a speaking voice throughout the game, the games choice system to alter endings is a novel idea.
Story wise it is one of the best FF game in years. You are able to use all the characters, so when one dies you can sub in another character which is why the difficulty of the game is pretty high. It's not an easy game & you will die pretty often.
True but i think it will only be a blip in overall sales if RE7 was exclusive to Xbox. Vesperia was a huge game when it came out as well as Star Ocean but even those games didn't keep the 360 in the game long.
Sure Resident Evil is a bigger household name, though it didn't help the Gamecube much when the series was exclusive for that system for a period of time.
It's funny that some of those games you mentioned were ported over to the PS3 to recoup some of the financial burden these games caused.

To an extent i agree that the FF13 Trilogy are good games but as i said many times they have the distinction of bearing the Final Fantasy name. When you have the FF name attached to it there are lofty expectations, and to many FF13 didn't meet those.
Other than the graphics it was a poorly designed game from its linearity, bland characters, hard to understand story & pacing issues hampered it.

Actually Namco has the rights to Xenosaga, while Squarenix has Xenogears. That is why Monolith again has to come up with a different name for games. Yes they now have the rights to Xenoblade so that is indeedvtheir IP.
The other games they have no say on cause they don't have the rights to. So if Namco wants to do a HD Xenosaga they can.
I guess you also don't like games like Dynasty Warriors or Hyrule Warriors as well since this game is in the same genre. It's a musou game so people will either like or not.
Personally i think it is interesting for Idea Factory to use Neptunia characters in a musou game, either way i love the series & this will be another game of the series i'll add to my collection.
Honestly the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy weren't that bad, unfortunately baring the Final Fantasy name there are high standards to live up to & Final Fantasy 13 trilogy just didn't cut it.
Of all the Final Fantasy games released by Squarenix these almost 30 years this was a low standard in the franchise and that is unacceptable.

Gran Turismo is Sony's bread & butter in terms of worldwide appeal. Even a game like GT5 & GT6 although good games but no where near as polished as previous GT installments have 13 million combined sales. So whenever GT7 comes out for the next generation it will be juggernaut in terms of sales.

What's scary is Microsoft has given all the price cuts they can do for the time being. They can't go lower than they are, so what will happen if or when Sony announces their price cut? That's the thing that is amazing is that the Playstation 4 is selling at the price they have been since launch.

It is probably one of the prettiest 2D fighters I've ever seen & that is just judging the demo. Ark Sys has always been great at making 2D games looking absolutely gorgeous & this is no exception.
Yeah the ESRB is right on this one. The game is pretty dark, probably the darkest FF game to date. A game about war will be like that. So don't expect a lot of fluff in this game, if you are looking for a hardcore storyline look no further.
Having played & finished this on the PSP u guys are in for a treat. In my opinion the best FF game to come out in a long time.
