This may be the biggest reason why Capcom went to Sony rather than Microsoft is the 'cross play' ability. We have seen & heard how Microsoft is very protective of Live & doesn't allow other companies to 'play' around with it. Cause of this thinking on their part Microsoft has lost out on many games like FF14 & now SF5.
Well Nintendo is an exception i agree. Unfortunately they are the only exception but you have to acknowledge that this isn't the case with the rest of the gaming industry.
One of the reasons i heard why Sony set up Playstation Experience is that there is so much for them to show that E3, Gamescon, TGS aren't enough to showcase everything. Whether that is true or no remains to be seen but if it is than WOW! Sony must have a ton more to reveal & that is exciting.

Like it or not this is the age of gaming we live. No longer will there be games released that are 100% complete, cause the introduction of patches & updates have become the standard.

The game may be dated now but i thought that graphics don't matter to people going by all this resolution debates. I still play the game on my Vita which in my opinion is the best way to play the game. The nostalgia is still there cause the games overall presentation is still great despite the graphics.

The big key is the Asian market where Playstation has a bigger appeal there rather than the Xbox particular in Japan. Many fighting game players are from the Asian countries so that may be a reason why Capcom decided to side with Sony on this.
