well I actually thought everyone that don't want to support the 360, just get it on PC anyways? at least that's what most posts I see on here about 360's games... say!
that think it's a need to say "this isn't killzone good" are lame. But if FEAR 2 isn't Killzone good, you know how many games I've seen on PS3 that are Killzone good? NONE. So do you really need "Killzone good" for a game to be good? NO.
But I'll be honest Sony's release of Killzone has me expecting more of my PS3 purchases come Feb 27th... it's only fair, GG has the same system at their disposal as EVERYONE else making a PS3 game... so they ALL are working ...
is good enough to tide me over... especially for the price it's fetching!... BUT this is a rare item and I can see how this could be justified to someone, some of the features... almost make it like a collectors edition, something I know us US gamers won't be seeing sadly!
PC is ahead of consoles, who don't know that?
But as a PS3 game and a game in general it sure IS the best looking console game to date... it don't need to defend itself against Crysis for that title!
Only thing that is sad to me is 90% of Killzone posts on N4G are ONLY about the graphics... WE KNOW! can we hear about the gameplay, cause that is the defining factor for me and how much playtime this game will get from me!
Official Playstation Magazine is playing a PS3 exclusive game, just like when 360 exclusives are played by Official Xbox Magazine... they all love their own exclusives. If you want REAL reviews go outside the offical mags that ONLY cover their system, but better yet... the best reviews are the ones you can make on your own by playing them!
Sony didn't put down the money to get this exclusive, MS had the money to make it go multi, and Square wanted to make the money.
Now the game will reach a wider audience of gamers and NOTHING is wrong with that!

The release of KZ2 could be GOOD or BAD for Sony to release, because of what this article talks about. Come Feb. 27th, the stress is on the devs.... the ball's in their court. Are they willing to get in the game?

while Gears is here to stay. This is what I mean by FPS's becoming forgetable. Good graphics or not, UT would've been forgetable. Im pretty sure why Epic chose to give the goodness of the engine to Gears. A new title that also could stand out from a vast majority of shooters with its 3rd person gameplay. The Unreal Engine comment I definatley agree with, cause it drags down... games advancing in the graphics department. But Gears is the only game that truely milks the graphics to the core, but it should be that way Epic came up with the engine!. I also hope Killzone tool sets don't go out, sure I want my PS3 games to be just as visually awesome. But the minute they start to almost mimic KZ to a t... then KZ loses its flair. mainly Fanboys. This gen people put away "being a true gamer" to dig out the "fanboy" deep down inside themselves to just find the most garbage they can about the opposing system, just to make themselves feel at ease. PS3 and 360 are in a Battle Royal of a cluster f**k, too busy dealing with eachother insted of focusing on the Wii. The fact that the Wii isn't even a fraction of 360's power, and no where NEAR the PS3's power... but still demolishing both systems sales combi...
and Im with you, I think PS3 is going to have the better 09 than MS. I sure as hell will buy Alan Wake when it comes out, no doubt... but outside of that, everything MS is offering outside of Alan wake is add on's/expansions to been there done that... last year.. games.. Sony is in the here and now. If Sony can keep the quality of their exclusives on graphical par with KZ2, 360 won't stand a chance!.

EXCEPT Killzone 2, it's graphics alone are making it a game that anyone would be a fool to pass up. Killzone 2 is the first game of this gen that I honestly feel EVERYONE should play!. But the 3rd person perspective/cover system, etc. of Gears is why I will always and forever keep going back to that game this gen as well. Gears is a breath of fresh 3rd person point of view air... when we are all drowning in a sea of played out concepts of WW1, WW2, etc.. My friends and I still thoroughly enjo...
and even more on the game when it releases the 27th... but if the game plays like your average run of the mill FPS, sadly it'll count out those beautiful graphics... for me at least! just personal opinion!
