...I really like the originality of what this game is promising! cannot wait to add this to my 360 this year, it's just a massive shame it's the only game Im even hyped about for 360 though!. Most of my gaming is going the way of the PS3 lately!
before I start praising my 60 gig PS3, even Heavy Rain looks great... but not Killzone 2 amazing. Im not as easily impressed as the diehard PS3 owners...
Im actually pretty sure, have been long over this game!. I've played about 5 deathmatches total on Live and when I hit 30% completion of the actual game, I lost interest!. They took me for a fool by releasing a game that its previous title San Andreas surpassed in quality/fun/immersion. Overall I still liked Vice City the best, probbly cause of the music, lol. But I feel totally ripped on the Collectors Edition of GTA4!. Most mediocore game of 08 for me, especially for what it was hyped to be...
HELL it even looks better than games expected to release AFTER it!. But Killzone 2 won't negate the awesome factor of say this game and ones schedualed to release later on. It's a shame the diehard Sony fans tout Killzone 2... it's ONLY 1 game and 1 game I've only seen like it on PS3. Get more games with the same quality and I don't even feel Heavy Rain matches Killzone 2. Then I will be colored impressed. I EASILY prefer Gears ANYTIME over the UT series... in a shooter market where everything is going FPS, it's wayyyyyyy harder to get gamers into your game when that certain genre of game is literally OVER FLOODED. It would be too much work to try and invent something new for the genre so you get a note worthy product that stands out. The thing with Gears is that, where are 3rd person shooter games that play like Gears or anything close? NO WHERE. Uncharted for PS3 is the only game I've played ...
they get NO use or play time to the extent of HOME! so whats the purpose?. Im not going to keep going to "create a avatar" just to click my right joistick to make him burp, our move my left joistick in circles to make him googly eyed all the time! BORING. MS needs them to be used in a HOME like fashion. If not... why do they even exist?
but what bums me out about it, is the fact that I play TONS of games between my PS3 and 360. The perk system only makes the game needing CONSTANT attention... because you have to maintain your rank/perks against everyone else. To lose your vibe by staying away from a game for a day or two could prove devistating to your rank/perks. It all becomes about maintanence!
Im not complaining like this is bad, it's just going to suck for me to stay well at the multiplayer then. Hell bou...
cause I really couldn't stand GTA4 and Im one of the people that flat out don't see why it got GOTY 08! you can explain/defend the game all you want. But I've played way more games that have technically advanced more over GTA!. As of now this is a NO! for me.

Uncharted, UT3, R2, and LBP. Then hopefully... Killzone 2! but EVERYONE knows Sony has WAY MORE games then that handful... and Sony should respectfully market them equally. Sony has wayyyyyyyyyy more other deserving titles as well that certain deserve massive air time!
it also will raise expectations very high for what people are going to come to expect from their PS3 exclusives. If Sony can do the same kind of maintenance for other exclusives (and even multiplat devs.) to get their games on par or better with Killzone 2. The PS3 will straight up be a wrecking ball destroying all in its wake. With Killzone 2 being recieved so positively, Sony should definatley keep the positivity rolling.... cause Killzone 2 even has the most biased of media/fanboys craving...
MS and Sony would shut the f**k up with the banter and just deliver quality products!. MS has NOTHING this year but DLC and Alan Wake. Sony FINALLY gets noticed because of Killzone 2, then Kaz comes out of his hermit shell to throw some punches. Both need to STFU and realize while they are fighting eachother, they are losing to a last gen console with motion control!... now that IS sad!
on some LBP last night for a while, then we switched to wanting to clown around on HOME. She hadn't been on HOME for a lil while so she had to re-download all the areas again after the latest HOME update!. After that we tried going to Central Plaza, the HDD icon would spin in the upper right of the screen, the Central Plaza bar at the bottom would fully load, screen would blur out like usual till it puts you else where. But then it froze up?. Used the guide button to quit and exit out. Reboot...

they feel the need to get c*cky? I absolutely LOVE my 60 gig PS3, but by no means will ANY PS3 title just completely keep me away from playing my 360... or even yet.. my Wii.
Where Sony has the tech to make their games eventually outshine 360's (Killzone 2,Heavy Rain for example). Those are ONLY the 2 games that truely make me s#!t my pants with the graphics they do. But it's going to get to the point where 360 is going to NEED TO rely on the gameplay being great in their games...
being able to simulate the murderous actions in Mad World with my Wiimote... easily would make this a Wii ONLY purchase for me.
That and my Wii is severly in diar need of a new game... my Wii hasn't seen a new game purchase since Mario Kart... LONG OVERDUE!
360 or PS3 don't need this game, they already have more than enough solid gaming expierences to be had. Bout time Wii got something in its favor for once!
But I'd rather play Gears on my 360 over how this game looks so far, I just haven't seen anything yet that blows me away about it yet. But this game some time to hopefully shape up. But Im going to get lost in my copy of KZ2 on the 27th of Feb... to really find it hard to care about any game for a while, lol!
