you HAVEN'T seen the transition of the controls for the RE series. I think RE5 controls great compared to RE1,2,3, etc.. if that isn't transitioning and getting with the times what is?
RE has its own way of playing/being played, it DON'T have to play like everything else to GET WITH THE TIMES. The controls for RE5 compared to the earlier games of the series, ARE, obviously with the times!

The control scheme works for me as I loved RE4 on Gamecube. You CAN'T run and gun cause that wouldn't be RE. Not being able to walk and shoot at the same time, leaves you stationary thus leaving you wide open/forced to face the giant crowds of infected people or bosses...

Sounds like Insomniac is losing their original vibe/concept with the game... which if so, I will be disappointed in them!
Sure Halo 1 didn't have online... but Xbox fans definaltey did 16 player system link/lan parties for sure. Something I knew some of my Sony buddies were actually jealous of!
Sure sales of a game don't mean the game is either good or bad, to those that won't ever play it. If sales are great for a game you don't like, you still don't like it, but that don't mean the people that do love it and enjoy it bought crap if they enjoy it. It's all personal opinion like any game purchase....

too late to the public before the game goes on sale!. I think the demo should go world wide at the time the pre-order demo does, and the pre-order demo shouldn't of existed. I know Im super pumped for KZ2, but this demo is going to knock it down a bit for me. Will Killzone 2 be just like the other HUGE exclusives we've seen across all platforms... where after the hype dies down, the re-reviews kick out and it really isn't that great to most people in the end?. There is so much that Killzone 2 spawns for me. Killzone 2 will FINALLY be the PS3 exclusive to sell the way exclusives NEED to sell. One thing MS has over Sony is that Sony's fans DON'T buy their exclusives in the droves 360 fans do. Also the so called lack of 360 exclusives...
for the demo to finally come out, yet alone these multiple delays for the game to finally release... I can't help but to feel Capcom polished up RE4's formula with new graphics and a new story and remarketed it. For what those of us that are still buying the game (me included cause im a huge fan), I can't help but to think this more than easily could've released earlier on this gen. Because outside of visuals and story... we are playing something so close to RE4 that its actually sad that it ...
of the demo... I honestly don't see why we had to wait so long for a next gen Resident Evil. It's 4 with better graphics and a different story... took to long for them to get this game out! However it's a 1st day buy for me, HUGE RE fan here!
20 dollars saved and put towards ACTUAL HARD COPY GAME releases, not digging this DLC path MS is taking with their fingers crossed while praying to make it through 09 with ONLY Alan Wake being the only note worthy title!

when she logs on to meet up with me. The HDD circle up in the corner spins to show it's saving the data from HOME. Then it the loading bar starts up then when fully loaded, the screen blurs out to load the new area, then NOTHING! it stays at that screen till rebooted. I haven't had problems with my 60 gig PS3. I don't let PS3 titles effect the way 360 titles turn out, I personally prefer to mostly base my opinions of games, between games on their respective console. Gears is the best I can get graphically on my 360, just like Killzone 2 will be the best for my PS3. There is nothing false in that now is there?
