Shame you can't uppercut/kick or with the RE5 avatars be able to shoot... some of the people I see typing some of the most foul crap I've ever seen in HOME!
The gameplay is great
The controls and camera are on par with RE4 which was HEAVILY praised by the industry might I add! Why fix what isn't broken?

KZ2 is a FPS perspective that can be seen in MANY (obviously) FPS games that you can set up to play like OTHER FPS's you've played before so you can instantly pick up and play the game. Whats wrong with RE5 being able to be picked up and played similar and so close to RE4...
if Killzone 2 is generic been there done that gameplay with a fresh paint job, as you claim is the problem with RE5... then it also will NOT be the 2nd coming of christ and I personally won't find it that great!

Im betting most of you have only played the RE5 demo and nothing else from the series, thus not understanding a damn thing about it. RE5 IS indeed... a VIDEO GAME! and one that has used the stop and pop mechanic to enstill the fear in you that you are facing more (giant groups of people/huge bosses) than you can handle and adds technique to the style in which you need to play. I own and have beat Uncharted... but to say it's anything as gorgeous as KZ2 is a joke man... common and be serious! NOTHING I've seen on PS3 to date, even compares to KZ2!. Just like Gears 2 is the pinnacle for graphics on 360 (with possibly RE5 now holding that crown even if it is a multiplat). Just like Crysis is the most gorgeous PC game to date. Each console/platform has its strong titles in the visual department obviously!
P.S. = Im also very eagerly awaiting Uncharted 2'...

cause the graphics have garnered so much hype and positive reviews for the console. This is indeed the most respect I think the PS3 has even gotten this gen, if Sony gets all their games on par with KZ2 they could truely take the world by storm... the graphics for PS3 could cause a Wii effect amongst even non-gamers Im betting!
