The thing I keep waiting to hear is what is the speed in non boost mode. It has to be lower but, they refuse to be honest. In most things boost can only run for a short period of time. I thought these games were only capable on PS5. Now they can be done on PS4 also. They said they were moving on to the next generation. Now they say they will continue to support PS4.
Why weren't they honest about this in the beginning?

For the power you get it's a great price. Remember when the specs for the Series X leaked people thought it would be $ 600 or $700. To come in at $500 is great and the $ 35 a month with services ( gamepass, Xbox live, and EA play) all at a discount for buying each outright steal.

Well it's not an obvious "typo" Have you sent the post by PS fans claiming the PS5 is faster overall than the XSX just the storage. We all know that is not true.
The reason the PS5 may hold next generation back is 4k. The XSS is only meant for up to 1440p and up to 120 fps. They can easily lower res for that. But, with the PS5 people are expecting 4K and since the PS5 is less powerful the devs may scale back their 4k games to keep syst...

Is non boost mode really only 9 Tflops or is it less? Do you think Sony is going to be honest and state how underpowered their flagship system is? That is what is going to hold back next generation. If the PS5 gets a large market share devs may not push next generation because of the weaker PS5. Remember the dev of scorn even said only XSX was capable of running their game. I'm just amazed by how much people are complaining about a 1.4 hdmi cable. Forget about everything that is included in the console to harp about the cable. I'm sure MS included the proper cable for the system because if the console doesn't perform as advertised they are sunk.
I would say the same about PS5. It has lower specs but, we don't know how it will translate to performance.
All of this is just speculation. But Xbox Series S running Gear 5 at 120 fps is a good sign for Next gen.

The financing is no interest in the US and the $25 a month gives you a discount on the total cost including service from what I hear. I'm getting the XSX bundle because it's only $10 more a month and gives me an excuse to buy a 4k TV. 😉
