I'm curious would you rather pay for a PS5 and $70 for each one of these games or $25 or $35 a month for a Xbox with all the games day one?

It's pretty enough to make Sony fans like monkey lose their minds. This is a $7.5 billion deal you are trying to downplay. Everyone but, you thinks this is a big deal. Smh

What difference does that make? Zenimax worked with MS in the past so, why is it a problem. People complained about the lack of games. Now, they have over 20 studios and huge catalog. Now somehow they did it wrong.

They said they wanted to add value for their customers and they did. It's not there job to worry about the competitions customers. If you want these games come to the MS Eco system (Xbox and PC). Does Sony worry about Xbox owers when...

Must high end 4K tvs do 120 fps. That's why when I get my XSX I'm getting a Samsung Q80t , Q90T, or the LG nano 91.. If I'm going next-gen I don't want my TV to limit me.

I never understood the' Xbox has no games' rant. My backlog said different.

I saw that the $25 a month Series S bundle has a 18 month upgrade program. So, you have options.

Buying a studio is buying a studio. The thing that gets me are the hypocrites that try to make when their favorite company does it , it's a good thing. But, when the competition does it, That are the devil!
You guys are ridiculous. Smh

Unless they did it to hurt Sony? If they keep all the games and you were in the market for a console which would you choose and why?

@Vengeance1138
You forget this is just a drop in the bucket to a company the size of MS. Remember exclusives sale consoles and those consoles sale services. To your point don't you think Sony should release all the their exclusives on multi platform? If they did that with their weaker system would you buy it?

It would be safe to say a multi billion dollars company may have a slightly better grasp on finances than you? I think they will be alright.

@Ultra
No it's best for them to keep the games to themselves as Xbox and PC exclusives. Remember how important exclusives are? You know people want the console with the most exclusives. Now they have the most powerful console and the best exclusives and more of them with all these studios.

Does this change your choice of next-gen console and if not why?

This is what happens when you poke the bear. But, instead they poked Godzilla. So, now Xbox gets all their games included with Gamepass day one and MS makes money on copy sold to PS and don't forget Sony is supposed to be using MS cloud services.

That's a boss move make money off of your competition.

@lucas
Sony could not have stopped it. They are not as big as MS.

So, that is the misunderstanding I was equating boost mode with smart shift That is what I didn't understand. I stand corrected.

2024d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

What I'm talking about is things like smart shift that can throttle down the CPU and /or GPU depending on demand and power requirements. Are you saying the will still run 10.2 tflops regardless of throttling? That is what I'm talking about. What is the range when it's throttled.

I think we are having a misunderstanding. No hard feelings and no reason to get upset. That the problem with typed discussion or debates we read the other person's response in a ann...

I asked Tflop and not clock mhz. They are not the same. Either you don't understand what I'm talking about or you are being dishonest.

And what number is that?

825 GB SSD will fill up pretty fast. I hope next generation consoles come up with a good compression to save space.

@Shane
You can wait till 2021 to buy the PS5. It will be cheaper and you will have more games. Are all first party Sony games $70 now, the PS5 controllers are $70 and you have to pay for a service to play PS4 games?

If so that is really going to add up. Or $35 a month for the much more powerful Xbox Series X, games pass( over 100 games plus all first party games day one), Xbox live, and EA play.

All the cards are not on the table. Has Sony ever said what are the Tflop in non boost mode? What does it run at normally?

I think it's funny how they left off Xbox in the title. Another game to add to my backlog. Smh
