I have been all digital on PC for about 20 years and have not run into that problem. Digital games are stored on your HDD.
I gave up on physical after PS3/Xbox 360. I don't loan games, trade-ins are a rip off and the boxes take up too much space. I was all digital on PC for years so, it only made sense to me to go all digital moving forward. Haven't regretted it.
Yes, just because a game 8s on gamepass doesn't mean people will play it. Big numbers like this mean people are really interested in the game .
Also don't forget over 800, 000 paid $45 to $100 for first day early access before gamepass version launched. That is pretty impressive. Especially if you compare to other games. For example the much talked about exclusive "Returnal ' only sold about 560,000 in 7 months. FH5 is doing quite well

That game is not good. I tried it for free on gamepass and deleted after about 3 hours of playtime. That game has gotten a lukewarm response overall.

I think you got it wrong. Did you know that they had @ 800,000 player on Nov 5 early access. You had to pay for the $99 premium bundle or $45 for the premium game pass. By comparison more paid for FH5 early access than people that bought "Retunal " since launch in April. Retunal has only sold @ 550,000 in 7 months. If reports are correct
They say that. But, the fact more people bought FH5 and were playing it in early access than the much bragged about but poorly selling PS5 exclusive ( Only 560k since launch in April. 7 months ago. Smh) that's @ 1/2% of PS5 owners.

You can just pay $45 for the premium bundle add-on to GP version. That way you can support them, start playing on the 5th early, get everything, and save money like I did.
