It's actually coming to PC's first. Which I thought was weird cause it's being made by SOE... but not launching on PS4 first. But then I remembered Planetside which was also made by SOE and is currently only on PC.
There's something kinda sad about a person who cannot stand to see something praised without having to shit on it. Having to always have the last word/Win, SMH. "But it's True" & "Just saying" doesn't make you look like any less of a shitty person. I can't imagine someone doing this in real life and having much people that like them.
Great news for Fatal Frame fans and owners of Wii U! But, why Fatal Frame? It's not a particularly popular series, nor has it ever really sold very well. Why not go for a big one... like Resident Evil! Pay for the development of it or just pay for exclusivity. It doesn't have to be RE, but just some other big 3rd party game. Start using some of that Nintendo money we keep hearing about!
I don't really know why this is news... couldn't this be said about all of them? Nintendo/PS/MS? If Microsoft brings it at E3 they'll win! If Sony brings it at E3 they'll win! If Nintendo brings it at E3 they'll win! Hell If OUYA brings it at E3 they could... maybe not that lol just kidding!
@Mrkrispy I'm not sure which article you're referring to, but here is the difference between: Sold-through vs. Sold-In, as I understand it.
Sold-through means, sold to consumers.
Sold-In means, sold to retailers.
TBH Microsoft announcing 5Mil sold-in is standard PR, Sony did that exact thing last gen. Nothing new or weird.

There's always somebody that has to bring that up, we all KNOW that the PC is and will continue to be more "powerful" than the consoles that much is clearly obvious. When you can drop a grand on a GPU, of course it's gonna be more powerful than a $400 machine.

@darthv72 I don't think MS is bothered by it at the moment, as whatever stock retailers have is paid for. That money is already in the bank, that very big MS bank, what is could effect is amount of stock said retailers will purchase in the future.
If the console isn't selling as well as a retailer had hoped, they may try to lower the price to move stock. When that stock is depleted and they need more, they may order less. Who knows really, this is all speculation but...

@JoelsMad That's kind of been the issue with MS lately... they've been late to the table with things, I'm not talking about videogames. Zune, late to the party. Surface/tables, late to the party. Both failed, come on MS... jump in! VR can become a big thing if everybody is on board!

Who know's why the update is coming out now, could be that the X1 was rushed to market a few months too early? who knows.
@Naga You're talking like getting into China means it's going to sell. Mmost Chinese play online MMO's, Internet cafe's there a huge deal. Nobody really knows what's going to happen when the Xbox launches or the Playstation, if it does. Who's know it could be another Japan, not interested in consoles anymore.
China is a big question mark, a very tempting one though. And remember China has a huge knock-off market and a very good one at that.
