I'm almost waiting for MS to make a new console with a HD-DVD built in.
(I'm surprised the Elite didn't have it.)
Nintendo so far hasn't backed either.
Some believe Nintendo will back HD-DVD and others believe they will bring another HD format to the forefront.
HP is releasing 2 new PC's with dual format drives.
I'm waiting on the DVD.

It was a originally a $80 drop in cost.
Sony won't issue a price drop until it can make a price drop and make profit.
To do otherwise would be admitting something's wrong in PS3 land. That would ruin industry/consumer confidence in the console.
After the PSP price drop we should've seen a spike in sales but we didn't it just stayed pretty flat.

Last time we saw Metroid 3 in a demo it had same visual power as Halo 2, but I think they may have gone futher with it now, since it went from a launch title to a release in Oct. 07'.
