What's up with the higher price for games and consoles in Europe??
Total HD would be the best idea...because it combines both formats and no-one is left out 2-4 yrs from now.
Actually it's more like a 2 grand...especially for a low budget game.
In all it should cost most developers around $5-6k for everything.
My friend here told me about this over the weekend. He's currently trying to procure a $2k SDK kit from Nintendo now.
ESRB is non-profit..so I doubt they can ask for an arm and a leg.
Basically you just fill out a questionnaire form and then send in a DVD(all the bad stuff and etc) of the game for them to watch.
Not necessarily.
It's been known now for awhile the SDK limits developers not the actual hardware.
I believe currently only about 75-80% of the consoles power has been tapped.
Most developers currently aren't even using 50% of the power.
Nintendo hasn't yet released it's optimizing firmware either.
It would just be easier for me to keep up with..since my Mii avatar is on there as well.
Otherwise I'm carrying my controller and a SD card(that I might lose due to my friends cats)
Good times with Alien Crush!
Well I've been currently DLing most of my DVD's recently in HD. H.264 is the bomb.
I tend to DL first then buy later..if I like it.
Whats the going price on ebay now for a used PS3?
If I can get it for under $300 I might buy it.
Still can't be sold in certain states.
Many states won't allow the sell of AO/Adult content media in retail store or without a extra license fee.
I know for a fact many lease owners in the South East do not allow the sell of adult content in any of their shopping centers and malls.
AO rating should be for 21 and above. M rating should be 18 and above.
DubC
I think Frenzy Fusion is worst 360 game.
Far Cry/Rapala Fishing for the Wii. (Cooking Mama is a love it/hate it type game...I like CM)
PS3 Sonic and RR7
I would not call Elebits a casual game.
Me and my friends struggle to even get through most levels.
The game is almost too hard for one player.
The game is easy to pickup but not very easy to master.
Maybe by the end of 2008.
I just don't see people going ape over HDTV yet.
I think they will start moving in 08 though.
Cuco33:
Your right I work for HHGregg and SDTV still sell like hot cakes.
Most stores like Wal-Mart and Target only sell 720p or 720p/1080i HD TV's
Firewire: You can still buy SDTV's here. 720p is the norm here(for most retail chains). You don't see 1080p here unless you go to Best Buy or HHGregg o...
I like how you get a controller icon with your name. Nice setup.
I wonder if you can battle folks online with just certain controller setups? or is it just a free for all.
I hope they can make your name and controller settings savable on your Wiimote. That would be a huge time saver.
I would like both options.
I still like the tilt method.
Torch:
Have you ever seen the smash my wii or PS3 vids on youtube?
Sony fans berated/fanboy bashed the smash guy.
Nintendo fans cheered him on.
It's all in the attitude, I say.
MS rep told me once they only do E-M rated games. Why...because a AO game can not be sold in Gamestop/EBgames, Target, Wal-Mart, Toys R us, Best Buy and Circuit City.
You then only have maw and pop stores that can sell them and that too can be regulated by state laws.
Here we can't sell adult content games unless your a Adult Book Store. Basically meaning you have to go to a porno store to buy MH2...not good combo.
Online sales is basically all you can h...
500-600k sold next week.
DSL sales are up too!
Sigma slipped, but not as much as Trusty which is surprising.
But I still feel both games will drop even more next week.
That sucks...
I know how it is to not get paid for OT.
I keep thinking current BD players will end up out of date in just 6 months due to BD-J enabled discs.
Eventually I think an issue will come up with the DRM's...especially the new VM BD Plus.
Can all BD players use this? I guess your ok with a PS3 since it's firmware can be updated.
I've heard of new DRM HD DVD discs not working on HD players but you can always update them via a USB cable and then it's all good again.
