hasn't even started yet. If they wanted to they could reduce the price by $100 and lose money. Then they can introduce colours into the picture and it has been proven with the Gameboy products what that does. Then there are pack in games like Galaxy and SSBB that could entice people to buy one. MS and Sony have both done these things but Nintendo cannot yet as they can't even keep them on shelves.
The PS3 was suppose to sell more than the Wii at $600. Now has it. Mmm. So the theory of the Wii only selling because it s cheap goes out the water. Now then 2008 was supposed to be the year of the PS3 and what have we seen. The Wii outselling it every week. So when does it start. 2009? 2010? And by the way Nintendo doesn't generally release details of games until just before they are released. So wait until E3 and then judge Nintendos 2008 line up.

And continues to be thumped by the Wii. Oh thats right the Wii is a kiddies toy and not in comparison to the ALMIGHTY PS3. Shame its making a killing then because then that would of made these numbers interesting.
Because they are fighting each other, unlike barbie and tamagotchis. As much as you might hate it the PS3 and 360 are in a fight with the Wii and have both suffered badly. and if the Wii is not included in the battle then this gen of gaming might be the last as the two consoles in battle are struggling. Really struggling.
still sold more consoles than either MS or Sony. Well not one person has mentioned that. They still outsold on a week with no major releases and they were up against GTA4. Well done Nintendo.
And the Wii continues to crush both of them everywhere. I love N4G. Full of fanboys who claim "PS3 beat the 360" or vice versa and yet week in and week out the Wii continues to beat them both. And this with no major releases out and up against the almighty GTA4. LOL
Is that because it is thumping them or because you cannot admit a "last gen" console is selling much better than your mighty console. Its funny that the DS has taken the same route as the Wii and has also thumped the competition. Do you also claim the DS isn't in the handheld competition. You should let other people enjoy all different types of games not just hardcore games.

Wasn't Halo 3 meant to be the Wii killer. And Lair. And the "fact" that the year 2007 was meant to be the Year of the PS3. I haven't seen any of this come true yet and cannot see it in the near future.

has always been conservative with their predictions in the past and rightly so. If a recession hits and gaming starts to slide as there is less money going around then its better to be conservative than bullish. Nintendo can always change the numbers later on if they choose to.
I couldn't agree more. If graphics were that important then the Wii wouldn't have sold. Its just an argument that PS3 and 360 owners use to make themselves feel better about their purchase.

Just how many people will come on here and show hatred towards Nintendo and its fans. I for one think Nintendo has done an awesome job both with the Wii and the DS. And they are enjoying the benefits from it.
Could you imagine if they dropped the price to $150, different colours and bundled games like SSBB and Galaxy with it. They could sell 30m plus and end the console race this year. They would have to increase production massivly though which I do not think is easy to do as it is selling faster than any other console in history.. Yeah thats right , history.
