I can afford a overpriced PS3 but choose to buy decent games on the Wii. I now number 22 games and it is growing. And this joke as you call it it thumping your awesome HD console which Sony has stuffed up. It was supposed to be THE cosole too buy but maybe people are smarter than what Sony think they are.

didn't everyone predict the same thing when GTA 4 came out. PS3 and 360 sales would soar and destroy the Wii. We all know how that finished......
if you owned a console making company and your console was selling at $400 and every week your console was sold out then you would then reduce the price. Thats really great logic. BubblesDAVERAGE I class myself as a real gamer and only own a Wii. But you are right the Wii is different to other consoles and not everyone will like it. But it my own current gen console and I am very satisfied with it.

To be technical the Wii is actually winning in Europe. But as the Wii isn't in competition with the HD consoles(LOL) the 360 is still in front just. Sony are just really good at spinning numbers to make their sales sound good.

The attach ratio on Wii is much higher than PS3 and is catching the 360.

How right you are. The HD crowd will always downplay the Wii as"not in competition" or a kiddies console. But alot of hardcore gamers own it as I do. You can stick with your PS3 while 25m others will play with their Wiis. The Wiis version is the only one with online mode. So while you are of playing by yourself we will be playing against millions of others with motion captured movement.
Who are buying all the games. It is outselling both HD consoles games wise since forever and only last month did the 360 outsell it due to GTA 4. So maybe people are buying the games before they get a Wii so that they will have games when they buy a Wii.
that in the end graphics do not really matter other than to hard core gamers. The majority want simple easy to get into games that do not require button bashing to make them work. Nintendo took a chance on their console and Sony and MS took the well worn path of just upgrading thier consoles to HD and not much else. Nintendo's gamble paid off and is reaping the rewards that it is now getting.
Both consoles are being pawned by the wii and they have been since the PS3 and Wii were released. Every single week.
You cannot expect the Wii version to look as good as the HD versions but if the developers get it right it will play 100% better on the Wii and in the end that is the most important thing isn't it?
