What a big disappointment. Is this the nail in Sony's coffin?
The current XBOX already does 1080P on most games. Don't expect MS to take a step backwards. The real question is if Sony can step up to 1080p from the PS3's capabilities.

The XBOX ONE graphics definitely better but I don't think that's a good reason to rule out a PS4 purchase as well. Remember, the XBOX ONE is built for real, hardcore, gaming while the PS4 fills many other entertainment needs in the living room. Buy them both!
That's not a very good game. I don't think the PS4 controller will give the precision needed for a blockbuster title built on accuracy, like Call of Duty: Ghosts.
I was able to play several hours using each controller. The XBOX ONE is a hardcore gamer controller. It's meant for precision and long term handling. The PS4 controller is more of a family controller that you can pass around and it will fit anyone's hands. You can't play shooters or anything with it since its not ergonomically fit to allow precise control, but its still 'fun'. I can appreciate that Sony wants to be in a position to battle Microsoft as effectively as possible but after seeing the debacle with the PS3 I wish they would just slow down and think first. They're going up against one of the world's most well-oiled machines - Microsoft - in the area of development as well as distribution. Slow down and think first.

Considering the dominance of the X360 and the struggle of the PS3, I don't think Microsoft is crazy is just stick to its plan. It's a proven plan.

Unfortunately for Sony, gamers will buy based on the console and not just the price. After the initial reviews hit you can be sure sales of the XBOX ONE will skyrocket.
Well, the PS4 has a long way to go before it can be released but it's definitely on the right track. I just hope Sony learned from its mistake last generation which was to go against Microsoft's innovations instead of copying them.
