Since the XBOX ONE exists and the PS4 is just a theory on paper... I'd give the edge to the XBOX ONE.
That controller is SICK. Microsoft hit a home run with that. As a true hardcore gamer, creating a perfect controller is a game changer and Microsoft has done it again.
Sony will have a successful console. Maybe it will be 2nd place to the XBOX, or maybe 3rd place behind the WII U, but it will be successful and profitable and that is what counts in the end.
I pre-ordered 2 and I'm reeaallyy relieved to see that the XBOX will once again win the generation. I didn't want to face that question "Stick with MS or go with the new winner?". Thanks for putting out another great product, Microsoft.
The XBOX ONE is already dominating surveys, exclusives, and overall customer acticipation. I don't know if it'll wipe the floor with the PS4 like the XBOX 360 did with the PS3, but I don't think its too far fetched.
Chances are the XBOX ONE will dominate the industry like the 360 did. Basically what Microsoft has is a console that fixed the one thing wrong with the 360: A blu ray drive. Can Sony find a way to compete? We'll find out!
Its halarious that people think the PS4 - which so far exists on paper - is faster than the XBOX ONE which is a REAL console. The PS4, in theory, gets ZERO frames per second as of this moment.

The XBOX ONE is already topping charts worldwide compared to the PS4. Still, a REAL gamer will buy both regardless of which one is better. And sorry, but consoles will always be about gaming.
It doesn't matter if the consoles are ahead or not because PC gaming is dead.

The XBOX ONE has changed the industry as we know it. Finally we are going to see a generation that changes the way we play games - and for the better. If that underwhelms someone then that person needs to seek therapy.

With all of the publishers striking deals to develop their cross-platform games with priority on the XBOX ONE, it would appear that XBOX ONE will be offering the best looking games.

MS has lost next gen, just like they lost the current generation. Nevermind the higher sales figures in both consoles and games as well as the overall higher customer satisfaction rating....
The PS3 had more power than the XBOX 360.... Look how that turned out.
This is awesome news. Add to it the fact that they are using the XBOX ONE as their primary dev platform and I think we may have the best GTA yet!
