They've focused on the wrong type of lineup for the past year. 2006 was a huge year for RPGs and Square had a lot to do with it. Rather than carrying that momentum into next-gen development, they focused on handheld games entirely! Bad move and these numbers prove it.
Haha, I agree. Haze - underrated. But that's the critics problem and those who don't buy it. I personally love it. Great game really, not worth the poor reviews at all, but so much more. Great value, fun online. I don't get the hate towards this game.

Regardless of the fact that it's really not going to be pushing the envelope setting wise, I can just imagine how awesome the atmosphere is going to be. Bring on COD5 baby!.....after several months of playing Resistance 2 lol.

As for MGS4, not much longer now! I can't wait to play it.
I'm giving this game 8/10 from a guy who's played through the campaign twice (co-op then single) and played many hours of Team Assualt online. Haze isn't an insult, it been insulted. Good game, not great, just good.
Nice to see the PS3 staying strong and working its way back to respectability one step at a time. Haze is a much better game than the media is making it out to be and the multiplayer value should have it plugged into some PS3s till MGS4 (mine is one of em').
Now, once MGS4 is out, look out! PS3s will be selling like hotcakes!
Yeah, I'm tired of playing my Waitstation 3. I'd rather have some PLAYstation 3 going on at my place. Seriously, Guerilla, Square-Enix, get me my games!!!! I'm sick of waiting years for these things.

Ok, somebody at IGN needs to explain to me how the hell this game got a 4.5. I picked up my copy today and LOVE IT. LOVE IT. The Team Assualt online is great. Escaping by helicopter, burning nectar plants, it's a blast.
As for the campaign, much better than some say. I don't know where IGN got off with their review. If I were someone interested in picking this game up (which I was) I'd go off the Gamepro review personally.
Honestly, this "preview" was a joke. If they're going to be saying those type of things about Killzone, they better stay consistent and RIP THE HECK outta Gears 2 or maybe go back and rip Gears 1 because that environment design complaint was pretty apparent for both of those games too. 1UP has sucked for a long time now and I haven't taken that site seriously AT ALL this gen of gaming. Hell, just look what Ubisoft did to them, they completely banned them from doing pre-release revie...
People, please. Haze got low-balled by IGN and is averaging the 6.0-7.0s it deserves from everyone else. Get over it, it's average. I for one was really looking forward to it and will still buy it because of that. I'll judge for myself instead of making photoshopped BS.
I'm not happy that it's not the next step. But for a game I was looking forward to, being playable can suffice.
I think it's official that IGN America was over-harsh on Haze and should check their reviews over before posting. Everything else is averaging 6.0-6.5, which is average and okay. I'm looking forward to playing it soon!

For taking their sweet old time and focusing on cheap handheld games rather than taking the momentum they had in 2006 and running with it into the next-gen of gaming.
I don't feel sorry for them at all. Their approach was anti-gamer. They shoveled out a lot of crap the last 14 months or so on handhelds and the PS2 expecting the RPG fanbase to just eat it up. GOOD FOR YOU GAMERS that you didn't just buy into the mediocrity they kept giving you.
