I played the digital version on my PS3, and its was buggy as hell. Yeah, the multiplayer is pretty much broken, and it's the same multiplayer we see every year. Why people continue to support a company that disrespects them in such a way is beyond me.
People need to cut ND some slack. They make amazing games and all people do is complain that it has MP? who cares? I thought the MP in UC2 was damn good, and the SP campaign was as close to perfect as I've seen this gen. Sure, UC3 wasn't as good, but lets be honest, how the hell were they going to top UC2 in the first place? Got The Last of Us preordered already and that was with or without the MP announcement. Just beat the campaign, and yet I don't even feel close to done. Probably the first platinum trophy I'll get just because I love the game and not because I'm a trophy whore. Still excited to play co-op and MP; well after I get all those outposts, letters, side missions, hunting missions dead man missions, trials of rackyat.This game just keeps giving. This is what a Cabela's game should be like. I like killin the animals more than the bad guys. Definitely the real GOTY.
Innovation is not always necessary either. If the game is fun, polished, and well developed why not reward the developer. You can tell 343 took great care of and respected Halo as a franchise. Games like Journey and Okami and so on are all great innovative games, but not all games have to be. Games should be fun above all else, and Halo 4 is a blast.
The walking dead was awesome, however, borderlands 2 winning best multiplayer? you gotta be joking right? There is a difference in my opinion between co-op and multiplayer. Borderlands 2 is co-op, not multiplayer. Nough said

I hate how the celebrities said, "When I was growing up..." Don't they realize that most people watching the show, nay, most gamers are mature adults? Maybe, when I was 12 I would have enjoyed the jokes and all the cursing, but as a man with children of my own I'm glad my kids were in bed or I wouldn't have been able to watch it. It was like a GTA game. This is why gamers have bad reputations. The VGA's actually hurt gaming's image.
I own both consoles so I can say this with complete confidence...In what world is it OK to call the console that didn't crap out on you the disappointment? I have been through 4 xbox360's until I bought my slim. I love it. This is what Mass Effect 3 should have been like. Maybe not the gameplay, but definitely the story structure. The ending is truly beautiful, and your decisions matter significantly. Its not a; Do you want the blue light or the red light ending? I haven't heard many people talk about the credits either with Alela Diane's "Take Us Back" song playing in the background. That song was terrific for the ending. Most assuredly a GOTY 2012 contender.
Simply one of the best titles produced this year.No other game; retail or otherwise was as character driven or as emotionally riveting as The Walking Dead. At first it bothered me that the episodes were so few and far between, but after playing episode five all I can say is "WOW". They earned my $25.00, and if they should do another season they'll earn it once again. Only this time I'll just buy the season pass when the first episode is released. Definite GOTY2012 contender....

I loved both of the first Bioshocks , but one thing I'm absolutely gonna love about this game is it seems like the character you play as has a voice. That's one of the most annoying trends in FPS this generation. I don't care if its a TPS or a FPS voice acting is important to develop a character. Especially when you can't see the person your playing as. Glad they realized that with Bioshock Infinte because this game looks simply amazing.
While I do admit the Wii U has me curious, why does the ps3 and the vita have to compete with nintendos next-gen system? shouldn't people just wait and compare the Wii U with oh I don't know the ps4? I would like to say I would've waited, but it would be a lie. This game is far to great to not download it the day it releases. Besides for journey these are the only downloadable games I've really enjoyed this year. Which is awesome considering TellTales last few games have been just average. I'm actually enjoying the story of the game more than the story of the series. They were on that farm way to damn long, and I started to get a little bored in the middle of the season.
This is very upsetting. After putting well over 100 hours into Skyrim on my PS3 (yes it was a buggy mess after about 60 hours)It was very addicting, but if someone would've told me all this crap was gonna happen I'd have just bought it on my 360.Now it's even more annoying because it's not like I'm gonna put all that time back into it. I actually liked darksiders 2 a lot more than the first one, but everyone always has different expectations of what a game should be or do andI respect that. For me though, it was amazing.
