While personally I would give the game a 7.5/10 it's kind of funny looking at the title of the article, "Crysis 3 review:It has lots of graphics". Of course it has graphics every game ever released has graphics...lol Maybe not good graphics but they all have them. I can't belive no one is blasting the author over this.If the title is this poorly written I doubt anyone will even read the actual article.

If I would complain about anything in Crysis 3 it would be the multiplayer. The games MP is actually pretty good except for two things. There isn't hardly enough people online playing which means matches can take a long time to find(PS3), and damn why does everone run around with the freaking shotgun? It wouldn't be that bad if players using the shotgun couldn't cloak or even if in armor mode they made it were you could take two shots from the shotgun, as it is now it's just ve...

It's not that the gameplay is terrible because it's not. It's just that it's only average. That was fine in Crysis 1 because it was a more open ended game. Howwever, with Crysis 2 and 3 they're much more linear which kind of makes the average gameplay much more noticeable. The graphics are amazing, the story has been slowly coming along, but Crytech needs more inovation within the core gameplay(something most recent FPS games suffer from) that's why I think games like ...

What the hell are you talking about? Of course it's PC architecture, and how is it thinly disguised when at the conference Sony practically came out and said it was a like a high end PC. Heck, it even mentioned PC architecture on it's spec sheet and also on the projection during the conference when they announced the GDDR5 Ram. I fail to see how this is a bad thing. Console gamers such as myself should be happy because it means easier faster development times for our games, and PC ent...

Skyrims DLC like Dragonborn you can put well into 30 or more hours if you so choose.Same with the DLC for Oblivion. I'm not saying all DLC needs to be this long, but it's never a bad thing. For instance think about the DLC for Infamous 2, Festival of Blood was only about 2-3 hours long but it was reasonabley priced at $10.00, and it gave you a cool little side story about vampires. It wasn't neccesary to the main story at all, and you could tell that it wasn't cut from the mai...

Sony is smart enough to realize that some of their users that have bought the PS3 have no high speed internet service to log on to PSN to download games. Hell my cousin just got high speed internet like a month ago after trying for about 3 years(we live in the mountains of west virginia). Until they get high speed to damn near everyone(and remember this wouldn't just mean USA but other countries as well) I think it's a horrible idea to go digital only. In fact, the day consoles go dig...

I don't think DLC is the problem, I think it is when they remove parts of the game and sell it for 5 bucks and call it day one DLC. Skyrim for instance is the perfect example of a game doing DLC right. You can put well over 100 hours into Skyrim, and never even need the DLC. However, games like Assassins Creed 2 that held back sequence 11 and released it a week later calling it the missing link is just bullshit. It wasn't missing they pulled it from the game just to have us pay an ex...

Couldn't have said it better myself. Valve is far to damn good to be compared to EA. Cliffy, call me when EA makes the next game that is the equivalent of Half-Life 2, and then you can compare EA to Valve...Scratch that, Valve is still to badass for that...You stay classy Valve.

The thing for me though is that graphics in my opinion doesn't just entail how good it looks in HD or whatever. I feel like Far Cry 3 for example looked far and away better than Crysis 3; not because of the reason you're thinking about though, but because it was just far more impressive that a game as huge as Far Cry 3 could look as amazing as it did. With solid face and body animations, vehicles, custimizat ion, wildlife, and a kickass story all in a vast open world. Damn, now I wanna ...

So should we have no game journalists? You scold the "any moron with a blog" which I find more trustful than big websites like IGN or even Gameinformer which is owned by Gamestop. Then you say that real journalists like IGN and such are beginning to distinguish themselves from the "any moron with a blog" crowd. Then you call the big sites like IGN, Gamespot, etc. out with their underhanded shady tactics. You need to make up your mind. Do you want more fancy reviews that yo...

It's easy to think that's all he's saying until you look at the games he's directed. Gears of War is just as guity as any other game series that practices micro-transactions and day one DLC. Why the hell should I have to spend money on a freakin weapon skin??? Its a skin for gods sake!!! Even COD doesn't charge for weapon skins and camo(dont get any ideas Acti)Wuh he didn't want us to buy his games? Yeah right. For the record, Uncharted 3 is even more guilty... It went...

Agreed. He must be really bored right now. For a guy that said he needed a break from the industry he sure does talk about the industry a whole lot. Hey Cliffy, here's an idea if you can singlehandedly save the industry(not that I think it even needs saving) why don't you quit talking about it and be a man of action. It's easy to talk about things that need to change in the medium when you're not doing anything active in the medium huh.

Me too. What is he just semi-retired or what? He needs to make up his mind. Also, wasn't it AC2 or Brotherhood that they purposely held back one of the sequences, and later called it the missing sequence DLC. How the hell do you hold back a legitmate story chapter for DLC? That's unfair and most definelty is a shady business practice. I don't like microtransactions in games because most of the time for some reason it just makes the game feel cheap. Here's an idea make an AWESO...

Well, we know from when Guerilla showed Killzone on Jimmy Falon that at the very least Killzone Shadowfall will release alongside the PS4. He said something along the lines of, "It will launch with the Playstation 4." Jimmy Falon asked when the PS4 launched and he said, "Holiday, this year." So it sounds like Killzone will be ready to make the launch window.

I respect your opinion, and I'm glad you're enjoying it but I disagree. I think Crysis hangs its hat on the graphics and nothing else. Having played all three I have seen no real tangible growth with the franchise. Again, I respect your opinion, but I form my opinions based on having played the game myself, and that doesn't mean I'm some member of a cult or flock of followers that's sole purpose for living is to bash on the game. I have better things to do; like actually pl...

I always find it funny when the very first comment on the article is the person that submitted the article. You probably wrote this, didn't you? Way to play it off like you didn't, bravo... Way to get the ball rolling.NOT!!!These games are far to dissimilar to compare. So I wont add to the trolling by even responding to the question.

I did just that today. Beat Crysis 3 yesterday, took about 5 hours; wasn't really diggin the MP so traded it in toward Tomb Raider. Hopefully with Tomb Raider being open world it will hold my focus a bit longer.

1: EA can shove those microtransactions right up their ass.

2: I have trouble buying games now, and I don't think raising the cost of games another $10.00 is a wise thing to do.

I'm a working class guy with a family to support. God, if they make these games cost much more I might have to go back to my hobby as a teenager. Oh who am I kidding, I'm to old to be messin with paintball guns(but not videogames...lol)

This may actually be true, but not because their afraid of what Sony is offering. It's been widely speculated that MS is having trouble producing its silicone chips which could cause a delay. The PS4 is only launching maybe one or two months before 2014 so it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibilty that the 720 or whatever it is called to release sometime in Jan. or Feb. I'm more of a Playstation guy myself, but I do have to admit a February release would be better because of ...
