I mostly agree with your statement, but sometimes pre-ordering is worth it because of the DLC. Games like The Last of Us, and God of War you can pre-order with confidence because of the quality of the developers behind the titles. I completely agree. I own a PS3 and a Xbox 360, and I never use cross game chat while playing singleplayer. I do however use the party chat feature extensively. It's nice to be able to talk with a group of say 3 or 4 of your friends while playing Halo 4 together while another friend is playing COD, and we make fun of him until he sticks Halo 4 in. It's an amzing feature that I can't wait have on my PS4 as I have many more friends on my Playstation 3.

Whether it's at 30fps or 60fps I think it looks amazing. People forget that just because it has a higher frame rate DOES NOT mean it's a better looking game. That demo looked awesome, but it didn't look like anything the 360 or ps3 couldn't handle. The demo was far more impressive than the final game, and that's putting it nicely. This makes it seem like some type of revalation that it was shown on a high end pc, but actually most multi-plat titles are.
