Decent article, but 2 of the points probably wouldn't be there if they'd read the books or the wiki.

The Storm faction of the Covenant are a splinter group led by Jul M'Dama, who were not aware of the war against Humans ending and are looking to link with the Didact to wipe out humans for good.

The Flood should return IMO. Whilst I liked the challenge presented by the Prometheans, the Flood present a different challenge altogether. No dodging and...

I don't like the sound of the rumours below;

Used games are not readily run on the PS4.
Sony is planning certain protections in the PS4, including perhaps an online pass or something similar.
The PS4 will not be backwards compatible with PS3 games.
Games need to be registered to PlayStation Network account.

Let's hope they don't come true.

The only way it can use 2 discs, is if the missions are split between them, 1st half of the story on 1 and the 2nd part for disc 2. The fact that you can switch between the characters at anytime, despite them being in different locales, means it is impossible to split the map.

I wouldn't have a problem with that, if Rockstar needed to make that concession.

Alan Wake had no hype?! It did die down a bit due to the delays, but to say it had no hype is a bit much.

You can stick with one character if you want.

@beerkeg I see!

@dboyc310 Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake were different genres too and we all know the outcome of that. I bought both day one, but a lot of people have to decide.

It does stand a chance, considering ND's pedigree, but seeing as Sony don't have the marketing chops this gen, TLoU will do better being released well away from GTAV.

No way. I'm looking forward to The Last of Us too, but let's be realistic, GTAV will swallow it up if it's released anywhere near it.

Not true. Whilst a few did make the switch (in some of the important roles), the majority of them are new to the franchise.

Seeing as they recently unveiled a stunning next gen engine, I'd say no.

The article stated that there will be an economy, within which the player can spend their money on, just not houses.

@Logic What I meant is, that you're not forced to switch during one campaign like CoD. Just have it like GTAIV, where the campaigns were separate and you saw how they linked up that way.

4965d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Why? My guess is it will be like having the three campaigns of GTAIV available from the start. As long as you can play them separately from start to finish and not have them overlap in one playthrough, it should be good.

Keep the length of each campaign the same as the GTAIV DLC ones and it won't drag like Niko's did too.

Yeah, I agree, lack of disk space is pretty much the only conclusion I can think of.

Due to the bizarre decision by 343, that you can't watch the terminals in-game, I've found it very handy to watch it on SmartGlass.

They can continue without him, like Lionhead.

That's probably still my favourite moment in all the Halo games, but I prefer H3 overall.

Because the Xbox brand will now represent all forms of entertainment on their platforms, be it games/video/music.

It does spread across Microsoft devices. 360, Win8 and WP8.

4971d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

With you on that. I've started every Halo game since 2 on legendary and it's always taken me 12+ hours to finish them that way. Mainly because I die plenty!

Just to elaborate on what Stage88 said, Adobe are phasing out support for Flash and will adopt HTML 5 themselves. Whilst they'll support the browsers that already used it, new ones like the 360's IE will never get that support
