I'm in agreement with you. I missed out on MGS3 and PW, but got back into it with MGS4 and absolutely hated his voice. Man, it was on a Christian Bale in The Dark Knight level for me personally.

Durango will still have core games will it not? Will an owner not be able to play BF4, Watch Dogs, Destiny, Halo, New IP from Black Tusk Studios, PGR 5, AW2, Fable etc?
Yes, they are going to do things differently than Sony, but that doesn't mean there won't be as many core games on Durango than the PS4.

That wouldn't matter if they did, as the content can still be accessed by other accounts on the 360 it was downloaded to.

You can say 60% of hardcore gamers are male and be correct, however, hardcore gamers are a minority in gaming. Take the Wii for example, or The Walking Dead: SI, who made that game a success? Casuals who don't pay attention to gaming sites of conferences, that's who.

Why are people bitching about his opinion? It was a common complaint levelled against FC3 around review time.
I remember holding of buying a 360 as Halo 3 wasn't due out till 2007, Gears put paid to that! Awesome game/franchise.
Maybe they did and that's why it sold poorly? I didn't need any review to tell me not to buy Ascension, the demo did that, coupled with my feeling of burnout with the franchise.

Bungie aren't owned by Activision and will have exclusive PS4 content for Destiny, same thing could happen here.
What PS4 release date? It's tentatively dated fall in the US (which month, we don't know), here in the UK they say it may be 2014 before it goes on sale. Nothing is finalised until Sony and Microsoft give us actual dates of when these consoles go on sale.
