Developers should approach it like Ubisoft, make a specific game for last gen, make a specific game for new gen. Both party's win, no problems.

Ubisoft should really alternate each with year with Far Cry and Assassin's Creed. That would be the best strategy imo.
Wonder if coop will be a main stay to the franchise or if this is just a one off thing. Perhaps this is just a trial to see how well its implemented.
Would be great to see the coop characters as actual characters relevant to the story in future games, but I understand the desire for having a single character focused story.

I have to admit, everytime Ubisoft quotes something, I have to cringe a little at how their words can misinterpreted or come off as condescending, especially when journalists take it out of context.

Herd mentality truly is astonishing. Visuals havent been downgraded, coop was always mentioned as being separate from single player, and the himalayas are specific set pieces integral to the gameplay/story.
